People, stop listening to cricket commentators.
Let me spell it out for you...
Bishop and co. have limited cricketing rules knowledge.
Furthermore a declaration is signaled by the captain.

Bangladesh did not declare their 2nd innings.
The last batsman retired hurt, ergo the innings closed.
Same as all out, except because 10 were not dismissed, it's innings closed.

Had there been less than 9 people out, that batsman could have resumed his innings
or they could have installed a concussion sub.

Please stop posting nonsense, unless it's just in jest

Calm down boss man. I know they selling conkies for $7 in Bim, but you don't have to get on so!

Please stop calling them rules, unless it’s just in jest.

It’s the Laws.

I think I share your concern that upon further review they may rescind our victory since our opponents declared twice. Reading the Laws, there is no expectation of this ever happening.

In Bim now, and looking for $7 conkees. Will be guided accordingly.

I think Culpepper is always making jokes no need for all that!

Well if that is all it takes, why havent WI declared twice more often so as to improve our win/loss ratio?

Conkies are free on Culpepper Island, but we are very strict about who we let in!

We didn't know about the rule. We were busy worrying about keeping elbow straight or who the coach will be, and about the six pages of things the Board messed up on.

So listen, serious talk now

If the skipper had declared before the guy decided to walk off with the physio, is that a WI win due to a Bangladesh forfeiture?
