Australia has a seriously good side. I have seen some of the se young ladies in the WBBL.
15 yo Caoimhe Bray and 18 yo Lucy Hamilton were outstanding performers in WBBL.

Chloe Ainsworth, "the bull" is seriously quick
Stay, Stacy, Stacy???????
Australia begin with huge win against Scotland
POM Larosa was called Bray by Stacy who provided commentary on the match.
Australia used three legspinners.
Will be rough
Samoa-Nigeria and Pakistan-USA matches abandoned without a single ball bowled.
Ireland-England: England 144 for 7 - Davina Perrin 26 (19) runout. Ireland 28-2 (3.5 ov) no result.
Guyana Amazon Warriors, bring Davina into WCPL. She is the first major graduate/representative of former England player Ebony Rainford-Brent's African-Caribbean Engagement (ACE) program. You may remember Ebony from the famous Michael Holding BLM exposition.
Ebs is a biochemist by training and a wicked drummer. Love to hear her on commentary.

West Indies play in less than five hours. Looking forward to seeing the growth of our 15 yo from two years ago, Naijanni Cumberbatch.
I thought last World Cup, she shaped up like how I imagine a young Stafanie Talor might have looked in her younger days. In other words, I think quite highly of young Ms Cumberbatch. Barbados, please help her growth as a person and cricketer.
Also looking forward to seeing how Samara Ramnath and Jahzara Claxton.
What happened to Nyia Latchman? Was she injured, not picked or aged out?
18-4 end of powerplay
39-7 (10.0)
three runouts
WI bowled out for 44 (13.2)
We need to put straight to the second tier. This lot we sent, simply cannot bat, judge a single. They don’t even understand an intermission between innings. Come out early than West Indian dew to defend 44 runs. Everything looks pathetic from the players to the management team.
In reply to Raggs
you make me laugh
India 47-1 (4.2) just before rain!
Selena Ross, left arm pacer has something to work with - height, swings ball, reasonable pace. Get her int o an academy

India Women U19 won by 9 wkts

WI might have to tek Raggs advice and move to second tier
In reply to Fantom
That’s minnow behaviour. Cannot bat, can’t bowl a decent length or line. Can’t even have the very basic ability of ground fielding. If Nigeria came out there performing like that you guys would laugh them off the park calling them primitive cricketers.
So West Indies were a powerhouse in world cricket been dipping since and now can’t even produce grassroot talent?
Put us in a second tier program to develop. No fun or games about that comment. If the ICC are investing money in the region expecting us to handle ourselves as full members in their organisation then what should they do with us? Be objective in your thoughts.
First three matches on deck today:
Australia - Bangladesh
Ireland - USA
New Zealand - Nigeria
Nigeria have done some things right in promoting schools cricket and attracting a good coach. Learn How Nigeria's women put West Africa on the cricketing map and at the Under-19 World Cup . Will be interesting to see their progress.
Nigeria buss dem rass!!! Win by 2 runs. Some good spinners and a fantatsic last over by pacer Lilian Ude.
Wins for Australia, USA and Nigeria
In reply to Fantom
Really good win dat

Will WI get to the Super6's? We have to beat Sri Lanka now to guarantee that spot or get into a shootout with Malaysia later.
Toss: Sri Lanka, will bat.
No changes to WI team. Samara says just go out and back our abilities.
Again I say, Selena Ross has some good elements to her. Need an academy spot for the youngster.
11-0 (3.0)
48-0 (6.0)
Two catches dropped, Raggs
Great bowling Selena, great catching Jahzara
Second tier, here we come! Nigeria would beat us today!
In reply to Fantom
Send dem home. Back to basic. Teach dem to play the game before sending them aboard.
Effing disgrace, utter nonsense.
In reply to Raggs
If the best we can do is send girls that ‘like cricket’ then We in big trouble
In reply to Halliwell
I watched 15 minutes of that Sri Lanka game and you could see they weren’t up to the task. They looked like a set of girls playing rounders.
I would like to be a spider on the wall to listen to top ICC personnels discussing the fact that the windies are full members and are unable to produce talent enough from the grassroots level to compete in tournaments.
Whatever money invested in the region from that sport body is not put into use in the right areas . Some people in the Caribbean are swindling off their funds.
In reply to Raggs
You are correct
They looked out of their depth

Thanawala serving some sweet bread .....
NZ 57-1 (10)
In reply to Kay
Yeah, they missing Amu who is very good medium pacer. Moves the ball and keeps the stumps in play.
We're looking at a future England wicketkeeper here in Katy Jones. Will replace Amy Jones in a 2-3 yrs.
Thanawala gets one 68-4(14.1)
Thanawala gets another stumped by the impressive Katy Jones. Spun massively.
79-5 (16.4)
Thanawala on a hat-trick caught and bowled.

Saffie # 4?Meso definitely cannot bat an average numberv8 for this tournament capo didn’t look much better
In reply to Brerzerk
Meso can bat. She actually looked better to me two years ago as a 15 yo. She should play straighter more often
Same advice to our WI women.
Player of the tournament Gongadi Trisha
I notice something across formats at all levels men’s and women’s. Too many stay leg-side of the ball even if it means trying to pierce a packed
off-side. Get behind and close to the ball. Gives option to play either side. Two on legside but fighting to beat 6 on off. Give them tapes of Kanhai, Viv and CGG
