PROVIDENCE, Guyana – Preston McSween followed up a half-century from Tagenarine Chanderpaul with a destructive spell to spur West Indies Under-19s to a 67-run victory over Bangladesh Under-19s in their fifth Youth One-day International on Wednesday here.
McSween grabbed 4-20 from 8.3 overs, as the Windies Under-19s successfully defended a target total of 178 to claim a morale-boosting victory under the lights at the Guyana National Stadium.
The left-arm fast-medium bowler formalised the victory, when he had batting bunny Jubair Hossain caught close to the wicket by his captain Ramaal Lewis with 69 deliveries remaining.
