Trinidad & Tobago's bowlers shot out Combined Campuses and Colleges in 30.4 overs to win a rain-hit semi-final at Queen's Park Oval and set up a title clash against Guyana.
T&T were sent in to bat and were 2 for 1 in 1.3 overs - Evin Lewis caught behind off Kyle Mayers for a duck - when it began to rain and the match was curtailed to 32 overs a side. The Bravo brothers - Darren and Dwayne - fell of successive deliveries after the resumption and T&T were 34 for 3 in 6.4 overs. They were the first two of Christopher Powell's five wickets; the 35-year old bowler completing his maiden five-for in his second List A game.

STATING that it could no longer hold off on its claims for US$41.97 millions in losses from the premature abandonment of the contracted tour of India last October, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) until next Tuesday to respond to its demands for compensation.
In a joint e-mail addressed to WICB president Whycliffe Cameron and Caricom Secretary-General Irwin Laroque on Tuesday, honorary secretary Sanjay Patel warned that if the WICB failed to comply within seven days to the requisitions set out in the original letter of October 31 last year, the BCCI would “initiate legal proceedings in the appropriate forum (identified as the courts of India) against the WICB without further intimation”.
He referred to Caricom’s request for the BCCI to hold off for 40 days on its initial deadline of 15 days.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Veteran West Indies left-hander Shiv Chanderpaul narrowly missed out on a hundred as he anchored Guyana Jaguars into the final of the NAGICO Super50 here late Friday night.
The 40-year-old stroked an invaluable unbeaten 98 as Jaguars, chasing 189 for victory, reached their target in the penultimate over, to seal a six-wicket victory over Jamaica Franchise in the first semi-final.
In a spot of bother at 90 for four in the 32nd over, Jaguars were rescued by a 99-run, unbroken fifth wicket stand between Chanderpaul and Royston Crandon, who finished on 45 not out.
Chanderpaul faced 142 balls in a well-paced innings and counted six fours while Crandon was more adventurous, striking three fours and a six off 51 deliveries.

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today clarified a number of issues relating to Mr Kieran Powell who recently issued a statement.
1. At the time he requested a leave of absence in June 2014, Mr Powell was a contracted employee of the WICB with certain contractual obligations.
2. At no time was any officer of the WICB or Team Management furnished with the details of Mr Powell’s personal issues.
3. WICB officers repeatedly attempted to contact Mr Powell via his personal phone and email following his departure from the team. To date Mr Powell has not furnished the WICB with personal contact details.

With every day they remain in South Africa, West Indies' chances of pulling together a respectable World Cup challenge falters before our eyes. They made only 122 at Buffalo Park in the third ODI, a spiritless and, at times, irresponsible, display full of ghastly, ill-judged shots and glum expressions. A nine-wicket defeat later revealed itself much as expected.
Three days earlier, the crowd in Johannesburg had feasted on an AB de Villiers world record; in what was only Buffalo Park's third ODI in nine years, the townsfolk of East London had to suffer a mismatch, concluded in spots of drizzle. Truly, the big cities get all the fun.
East London took their pleasure in Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis, lording it over the West Indies attack for unbeaten half centuries as the match was wrapped up with more than 41 overs unused, not so long after some had come in from work.
