I remember Dawn Forrester had a sister who may have been in the media... is that Claire? Either way, may she rest in peace.

Claire was a top shelf journalist and a very good friend. She was positive to the end.

Dawn Forrester and Terrence Forrester a senior Faculty of UWI Medical School are brother and sister.
But I'm not sure if Claire is a sister as well. They hailed from St. Mary.
Terrence came to STGC in 3rd or 4th form as a transfer student from St. Mary's College in Above Rocks.

RIP Claire!!!

from last night's news

Claire actually died in Florida - she was with her brother and his family since she was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer last year. Truth be told she lasted a long time given the odds of surviving two of the worst forms of cancer. One of my brethren and one of his daughters went to see her last week. They are really glad they did so.

Wow, she was strong to survive that long. I have two uncles who died within 3-4 months after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

I see; thanks. I'm thinking that I more than likely know her...

Yep good guy .... I have not seen him in a while ..
but I've helped him, Rainford Wilks(another good guy) plus a few others out over the years and still do with research related info and point-of-care tools for finding current data that is hard to gather in JA(funds??)

This is my binding contribution n the effort to promote health literacy and health information equity.
