Well, there are others too: Corbin could make this team, so could any of the Hope brothers, Kirk Edwards will get back in at some point, there is Cummins. Yes Kyle is talented too as both a swing bowler and a batsman. So there are some candidates waiting in the wings. The current crop had better state their claims with the score keeper!

No, I disagree. I think a declaration at that time would have been fool-hardy when there was no compelling reason to do it. We can declare today at tea if we are not bowled out first; we should have something in the region of 400 or ore by then. Nurse is not going to mess around too much so they'd better get him soon or he will start to pummel the bowling.

I will be disappointed with anything below 400!
Bim has batting to 9 and CB threw away his wicket and others failed to consolidate.
Indeed Bim should really be gunning for 500+!

I really dont like the fact that someone like Mayers who is infinitely better as a prospect than so many other players out there, is sitting at home.

They should think of putting a WICB franchise team together, pulling all the rest of the players who didnt make it into the island teams.

There is enough talent out there.

I agree. Quite a few to make a decent team. But actually, I think they also got the so called draft wrong. What they should have done is force teams to have only 8 of their home breds and to include three from another territory. That would have been a more useful draft.

But I could even come up with another Bim team that would be as good as these without much sweat, much less another team from around the whole region.

In the earlier years Trinidad proved formidable with the Inshan Alis,Jumadeens,Nanans at QPO....even Sobers struggled against them there...Lashley was boss however and later Roland Holder and Desmond Haynes.

Benn has been the DOMINANT bowler at QPO recently....if BENN was in this match,it would be over already.

What a shame,it would have be nice to see our 2 young ones showcase their ability,we know there's some in both players,win,lose or draw it's about developing our youngsters,and TT have been doing that more than the others.West Indies cricket needs a large bank of young players for the future.We need only to look at Pakistan,they always find players,if only their cricket structure could be rectified,they could be the best.

Over the last 5 or 6 years that I've been on this MB I've seen more youngsters playing for TT than other teams.You would surely know that.

Heavy rain now....oval drains well but it is the rainy season for those like wicb not familiar with the caribbean.

My home is England,and most of the people I know from TT don't run home before dark,that is bull.I do know there are parts of TT you won't go for a Sunday stroll.I think it's the same in Jamaica.

To all who feel that Bim was "hard done" by rain,it happens every year to most teams.I clearly remember,a few years ago rain washed out 3 matches when TT was in winning positions in 2 of those,and we still came second.
