Remember him as a middleorder batsman for Barbados. What experience he has an administrator?
In reply to SamlordPirate
He gave up on this sorry bunch before the 2007 WC.
But he would be a good choice
In reply to db
The people wid the experience messing up...........you said experience right?
I do hereby nominate our fellow Rum Shop patron, POINT. He appears to have all the solutions to what ails WI cricket.

I'm not giving up on Chrissy, the only person in the world with a Ph.D in Cricketology.
She's even actively campaigning against the incumbent President so there's a definite chance that she's advancing her case.
In reply to SamlordPirate
Isn't that the one who wanted to overpower Yagga during the 2007 World-cup, and when he couldn't get his way, packed up his belongings and ran?
In reply to Drapsey
Not true - there are other cricket Ph.Ds. I have no interest.
Dinanath Ramnarine.
The WICB beater.
He used their own laws to beat them time and time again.
Very shrewd administrator would do well against other CB's.

First of all I do not think of myself as being qualified for that Job . I have looked
at what I perceive to be the many problems regarding Cricket in the Region .
In this Forum , I have stated my views ,
and offered solutions . I am not here going to go through all that I have stated before , which have never been refuted by the Apologists for the WICB in this Forum .
Cricket in the Region is beset by Twin Cancers . The more important One is the Entity , called the WICB ; that is accountable to no One in the World . The International Cricket Cabal apparently has given it a license to be a Rogue Cricket Board .
So it is populated with persons who are Arrogant , lacking in Business Acumen from
a perspective of Cricket ; Incompetent ; Inept ; and prone to do Stupid things , especially when they perceive an opportunity to fester turmoil with the Players .
The latest episode of this behaviour was the cancellation of the Tour to India ;
which as WE are all now well aware backfired on them .
Then there are the so called celebrated
Sports Journalists in the Region , whose main occupation is to fawn all over the WICB , while being very critical of the Players . This is a match made in Hell .
I am waiting to hear what they have to say about the stinging defeat our Team suffered from Ireland . I have always stated in this Forum the fact that our Players in order to be fully competitive in the longer versions of the game have to play more matches at the Regional level .
It is my understanding that most of the Irish Players play County Cricket in England . That is a level that is higher than our Regional Matches . more than likely ,they perhaps play more Cricket than our Players .

You think the other CBs are pyam pyam like the WICB? Dinas was fully aware of the incompetence of the WICB and took full advantage of that to the financial betterment of the senior players.

You would be better off with Deacon Branker John....he also sings a mean calypso..

Nice read..The Rawle has done well
In reply to Priapus
Poor management bankrupted GM too. in like 1990 the GM Pres FAILED to make their Unions strike during a recession and with plenty existing inventory of cars---bloody idiot---Unions are GREEDY too and total GM worker cost of 80/hr was RIDICULOUS compared with Japs at $55, just like overpaying certain Cricketers who are mediocre and have poor attitudes.
WICB Damagement are jokers, who could not manage a Dog Team.
They could not even develop players like Polly, DJ B etc properly.
I know Rawle Brancker quite well having met him in 2008 and I know quite a bit about is experiences during the World Cup in 2007.However he is 77 years old and I do not think he would be remotely interested in that job.

Isn't that the sign of a good administrator/ To find weaknesses in your adversary n get the best deal for your charges?
In reply to Dukes
he is the type of fella you would like. dont mention this to Yagga tho
What about Chris Dehring.
In reply to sudden
Can you explain that statement.
In reply to Dukes
He means that Rawle is a decent upstanding citizen of a Bimshire who is a stickler for due process and fairness...
The fact that Rawle is not a dem however negates all of the above for Sudden.
TNPITBP
P for President
In reply to powen001
To an outsider whether he is a B or a D is completely irrelevant.
There is no such thing as a best man to lead the WICB.
Every single person is likely to be swallowed up and spit out by this
beast.
It is better you look for best persons to be regional directors.
In reply to carl0002
I endorse everything that you have stated .
Unfortunately the WICB has many Apologists in the Forum and in the Region who Dare not state what You have stated .
In reply to POINT
Like you are a players' apologist.
There are people who only blame the players.
There are people who only blame the administration.
There are people who blame everyone.
You fall into delusional group #2.
