Your word carries so much weight, I am sure they are writing letters of apologies right now.

Just like how the Pommies can siphon off the Saffies of another color, the WI should have similar access to the likes of Rabada.

How so? Common ancestry?

Devin 2016-01-23 11:14:20

Did Chrissy start this thread as a pre-emptive strike against the oncoming onslaught of Shiv threads?

Yep, but I thought I already said that with my Pommies reference.

Big difference. In those cases (Pommies) they share one or both British parents.

That's her usual stuff. But when she posted, it was way too much for her conscience to start a RABADDDDA thread without saying a word about Shiv, albeit tongue in cheek.

So, she mumbled something on a thread specially constructed for her.

lol lol lol

I glanced at the scorecard to see that England are well set and Rabada is going at 4.58 runs an over.

I could swear he picked up a 5-wicket haul. His bowling average is impressive at 38 and change.

First demand that apology from Surya and gvenkat. They are the most vocal it would appear and are always here on this MB doing it. Well, Surya gone now. ask venscat for di apology.

Well done, young man...if it was up to those screaming "quota" at every opportunity, this youngster would never have got a chance.

Thanks to the transformation policy, we are seeing players like Rabada on the world stage....

NineMiles 2016-01-24 07:31:26

JahJah 2016-01-24 07:59:21

Devin is something else. Yu big up young Bavuma on an achievement and him rush come to diss. Yu big up young Rabada for an achievement (his 2nd in short space of time) and him rush come een fi diss.

mikesiva 2016-01-24 09:07:06

Seven for Rabada...at this rate, when Steyn and Philander come back, it will be Morkel, and not Rabada, who makes way.

Larr Pullo 2016-01-24 09:12:44

In reply to mikesiva

Morkel bowls well when steyn and Philander are in the attack. So all four might play.

That said it will be a moot point if Mikey's fears for Rabada's health are realised.... smile smile smile

WestDem 2016-01-24 09:31:08

That was one of the gutsiest piece of pace bowling me ever see and from such a young man, it's even more special.. Congrats Rabada!

This kid is special in every way, especially his attitude. Something WI bowlers may want to emulate, instead of jumping up and down like hyenas whenever they get a wicket from a long hop! twisted

Larr Pullo 2016-01-24 09:49:56

When last a WI fast bowler get a wicket, from even a long hop? lol lol lol

Rabada to Hales, out Lbw!! Compton'd! Odds on getting a good ball when you're playing for your place? Many. Hales looks back in surprise, ponders and then walks back. That was plumb - hitting the middle of middle. He was waiting deep inside his crease, the length ball seams in and stays low. He's struck on his back leg's knee roll and the umpire, witness of the low bounce on offer all through, sends him back with a raised finger. Hales lbw b Rabada 1(7)

England playing survival cricket here and will cost dem in de end...2/1 off six overs!

JahJah 2016-01-26 03:59:16

Oh most high Jah...Even though di 10fer (11 now) sweet nuh rass, could you please kindly clear di lane for Rabada to take one more wicket for yet another 5fer, so that Devin and his Quota-talking bitch crew could suck on dat.

He picked up TWO...in this match. That's 3 now, in his short career, I think.

His bowling average is impressive at 38 and change.

Is it? I think I am seeing below 25.

Massive...6-32 in the second innings.

From six Tests to date, he's taken 24 wickets @ an average of 24.70. Not a bad start to his career at all....

Is there any Indian pacer with those kind of stats?
cool

Drapsey 2016-01-26 05:16:19

At least Mikey's 14-fer is still standing.
