Greaves gets a wicket caught and bowled...well done Greaves...he looked totally 'pop gun' last game against Guyana...lets see if this gives him confidence.
Warrican need to slow his deliveries down and give the ball time to hit the turf and turns
Any Jamaican radio stations carrying ball-by-ball?
In reply to Bestian
Not likely...try KLASSportsradio.com
In reply to mikesiva
Shaq Thomas gave it away again. And why are we persisting with Campbell?
In reply to SirGarny
He has look assured at the crease until the spinners come out. He got undone in both innings against TT after negotiating the pace bowlers well... We need to score at least 300 to stand a chance as the pitch looks very good to bat on.
I would like Jamaica to mek near 500 runs...but I ain see the batsmen to do it.
In reply to analyst-kid
Why 500?
Jamaica 111/3 (lunch)
King 9*, McCarthy 37*
OUT : S. Thomas 50, Edwards 4 Campbell 4
Wkts: Greaves 1 Cummins 1 Chase 1
In reply to yardman83
Not likely to happen....Mccarthy would have to score 150+

In reply to SirGarny
Need a solid partnership between these two at the crease.
They keep throwing their wickets away playing aerial shots though. From the little I have seen of King, he has seemed to be very impulsive and aerial in his strokeplay. Not sure if he understands playing to the situation. The pitch seems very good to bat on but we keep giving our wickets away. They will be made to pay when the Bajans bat as they have people who bat and bat long.
In reply to SirGarny
what happen to Blackwood?
In reply to methodic
Injured. Dislocated right shoulder from the last match.
In reply to methodic
Taking time off to learn HOW TO BAT?
In reply to yardman83

In reply to openning
Why these batsmen letting Miller mash dem up so?
Last w/e they had practice against leftie Permy, they must face Warrican regularly and other good lefties in Bim.

I havent seen anything from Jacobs nor the fastmen since morning.
Dem fcuking chupid selectors must swallow dey pride and recall Miller to the Windies team, bunch ah duncy heads.
Interesting: Brooks fail,Carter fail,Dowrich Fail, Stoute fail.
Barbados NEED to give Jamaica a lead of at least over 50 if they are batting second innings at Sabina.
In reply to analyst-kid
What is good about the batting, a number of guys are scoring runs.

In reply to mikesiva
He just got another
Warrican LBW Miller 3
In reply to analyst-kid
If they continue to poke and defend, Miller is going to eat them up.
In reply to openning
I agree. Get that man from under the bat. Haven't seen any one move his feet to Miller.
KIller Miller 7/49
Miller routs Barbados whilst Chase goes on to be one the leading run scorers of the tournament with over 500 runs.
Chase could be vying for that spot previously occupied by Deonarine/Ryan Hinds/Samuels in the WI team
A batsman who can be a spin option.

That might be a match-winning innings...Jamaica don't have any batsmen.
In reply to mikesiva
At this rate, Miller will be required to take 19 wickets for us to win. He has been shouldering most of the burden in the last few matches. Even Jacobs seems ineffective. And the fast bowlers seem to only have the purpose of taking sheen off the ball.

New Batsman K Edwards
In reply to mikesiva
I hope so, because he will need the help. This Shacoya Thomas looks susceptible to spin now. Paint picked it up quickly and introduced Warrican. Campbell needs a captains innnings here. His last innings of note was in probably round 2 with that 80 odd he scored... The Jamaican batting line-up, on paper, does not look bad, they just need to be scoring the runs... Needed a solid opening partnership though.
In reply to mikesiva
Traitor Kuk dash it weh 10/2..
In reply to FanAttick
I don't think he want to play International cricket again.
That stroke was schoolboyish.
So sad that in a region known for producing top class pace bowlers in abundance is now being dominated by truckloads of ordinary spinners
In reply to Oilah
Miller is a good FC spinner...good line and length. Wouldn't bother much test batsmen but a good FC spinner
In reply to analyst-kid
That is the problem our best spinners cyan bother bats at the highest level and we producing those spinners left right and center
The two Yardie import out already hmmmm
In reply to XDFIX
Wake up dude, not every Thomas is an import.
You and Joshua, think people from the country are imports.
These Jamaican batsmen are playing without heads!!! unbelievable! Walton just wanted to hit out when they have the whole day to bat. This is ending today, with time to spare.
In reply to yardman83
With such poor batting display, they might if well played the 2 U19 reps!
But on paper Jamaica has a good batting line-up...or is it really a good T20 batting line-up? They seem to have no patience and want to hit their way out of the batting slide!
I hate to see these spin bowlers on BOTH sides tying up our batsmen!
Im sorry to say this he is a shyte hound and he might not make a difference but they should look at the possibility of re-employing Samuels!
In reply to analyst-kid
Cricket is not played on paper boss. Its a piss poor batting linup.
In reply to Oilah
Nothing less than resignation of the entire JA cricket board will suffice as they made so many blunders especially with team selection. Examples: why Bonner not playing; why Marlon Samuels at home but not playing? Why drop David Bernard when clearly there are no qualified replacement? Where is Odean Brown? What assistance us been given for Cotterell and Mindley to improve their performances? Why was Brendan Nash not invited? He stil could contribute to JA cricket. Why are talented high school cricketers especially from rural JA not been equipped for national duties, especially young cricketers from STETHS, Tacky and Holmwood, etc? Why saddle young cricketers with the responsibility of Captain when they are just starting to develop their skills, while Nikita Miller an experienced and former WI player and former Vice-Captain is available?
To be honest the cupboard is empty, there are no upcoming young cricketer in the foreseeable future unless one develop over the next cricket season.
Why is Paint painting so fast today? Is it to teach Jamaica a lesson?
In reply to XDFIX
Dem dont know about Painting or panting for that matter!
In reply to XDFIX
U ain feel Paint secretly craving an IPL contract or any professional league one for that matter?
