Recorded the game today between Sri Lanka and Indian.

Narine's action isn't any worst than his.

Why hasn't he been called????

What else can I use other than?
Can you see Narine pelting "with the naked eye"?

TheTrail 2016-03-02 13:49:19

Well, the authorities say he (Ashwin) is not pelting and even if he is; he is not as blatant as Nerine’s.

Even Stevie Wonder could see Nerine is pelting with and without the naked eye. Maybe allyuh need to dress up allyuh eyes and tek a second, third and fourth look at Narine. lol lol

One of the few off-spinners in world cricket with a clean action, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin admits that the need to use the allowed 15-degree flex does arise in the modern game even though he has learnt to bowl with a straight arm.. The offie, who bowled with long sleeves against Bangladesh in 2014 to hide his bowling action recently admitted his mistake.

However Ashwin also defended it by saying that he does so because it gives him an edge over his counterparts

As I said, forming rules is not my job, playing is. If there is a 15-degree rule to be used as an advantage, why should I lag behind? There is a precise advantage that I wanted to use. People started thinking I had gone mad but I did not take offense,” Ashwin said.

“I felt only mad people succeed in life and if you’re mad about something and believe in something, you will come out on top. I felt to a greater degree that I did come out on top. If I hadn’t ventured into those things, I would not have learned as much as I did,” he added.
