chrisgayle333Big up double #WT20 #Champion captain @darrensammy88 - I support and backed him a 100% with his speech, well said about WICB, WIPA needs to be shaken up as well! The struggle is real. Sammy retired from Test cricket but I haven't. However, I'm not eligible for selection for Test and ODI, think we played our last game for West Indies 2016-Hopefully 2017 the W.I fans can see us again. Thank god for the prize money because the match fee is a joke what WIPA agreed to...so I'm donating my match fees to Charity! #PayMe #Champion 👊🏿

Chris full of crap. He is not a member of Wipa, so why didn't he negotiate a better fee deal for himself. By Charity I hope its your old club in Jamaica.

Dude, you do know that the WICB says they only dealing with WIPA as the platyers rep.
Whilst WIPA don't represent most the players.

Was the board wrong?

If the MOU/CBA says that the board only deal with players no, the board isn't wrong
But you can't give a person a contract on the eve of a tourney and tell them sign it. Now the question is when was the players made aware of such
A lot of things being said but i really wanna hear facts.

WIPA is more like a union. Professionals are represented financially by agents. Sooner or later the board will also have to deal with agents.

Sure you could but the person has the right to refuse to sign it...

I would love to see them deal with 15+90 agents...
