I am talking about batsmen at the top of the order,openers,number 3s and 4s,are Indos good enough in those positions,personally I have more confidence in the Afro Caribbean players,I think they have more steel and more bravery and fight in them,and are better suited.I know about Barath but that is one in a thousand.Chandrika may one day make it but why was Lewis not named in the squad.I hope I don't get banned,but I have to say it,Indos are not good enough in those positions.

As unpolished as granite sounds,the Kanhais and Kallicharans played 40 years ago..
Shiv never stepped up to open or bat at #3 for a majority of his career.
Trinidad produced loads of shithounds by the ilk under discussion..

The fact of the matter is this, Shiv handles fast bowling very well, I completely disagree with the poster, it has nothing to do with ethnicity but rather lack of proper coaching these days. Dead flat tracks in the WI do not help either.
