when I first listened on tablet this morning was not overly impressed but gave it a second listen with proper bass, it sounds sweet

Disappointing for what was a long-awaited and anticipated dream collabo. The musical style sounds like Bunjis but for some strange reason he laid back and failed to command the track with his skilful lyrical flow. Machel was decent and tried his best being a bit out of his musical styling. Sounds like a decent Jouvert tune but that is about it. Buss you head is a catchy title as I can see people with helmets on jouvert morn but the track really falls short and it got me bussing my head over how two of the most gifted Soca artistes could fall so terribly short.

BTW the collab is bigger than the song itself. Just the thought of Machel and Bunji in a collab is worth more to the soca industry than the song itself. There is a lot of bitter history between these two

yes it's a "big chune" but for me..it jus arite..
a song should be big based on riddim/lyrical content....and not who singing it
sure that'll give it popularity, but that shouldn't make it big by default.
I understand some of the history behind this colabbo, and see why it's big..but expected better.
This feels like..we should do a collab for the sake of one.
A song like this should be played for the next few years...except after this season it probably won't

you do good, ah couldn't listen to it twice. It's not original and it's not dynamic. Usually I could listen to a good tune a few times after listening to it for the first time.
