In reply to Narper
wah happen to Hetmeyer?
Some very loose strokes being played by the scorpion batsmen. I saw both Walton and Blackwood wickets and those shots were not warranted.
6.2 ov Reifer to S. Taylor, 4 RUNS, forcing back-foot drive through square cover, 37-1
In reply to shivnotout
Blackwood....gaan! 40/2
In reply to yardman83
Very loose stroke plays--
In reply to WestDem
4.6 ov Reifer to S. Taylor, 1 run, dropped on eight from a drive to mid-off (Barnwell), who muffed a right-handed attempt,
In reply to buds
Yea. I hope Taylor can capitalise on this start., but these batsmen thing it is t20! Lots of overs to go and we allowing the tailenders to face too many balls.
WTF...Them left out Tage fa modified opener.
In reply to yardman83
Its crazy--JA have too many shot makers on the team unwilling to play an anchor roll apart from McCarthy.
In reply to buds
I agree totally.
In reply to buds
Most of them auditioning for the IPL.
55-2 after 10
McCarthy 2* S.Taylor 33*
In reply to yardman83
McCarthy has been aggressive too though.
In reply to shivnotout

I had so much hope in that horsey...gave me nothing

In reply to Narper

In reply to openning

In reply to yardman83
Its crazy--JTaylor had to bail them out the other day..
In reply to openning
I have a class again in 5 mins .

In reply to NYCGURU
Congratulations to Taylor.
Mccarthy out to Barnwell for 45.
In reply to mikesiva
Taylor is playing very well. Now 129 for 3 as McCarthy departs for 45. Caught Beaton off the bowling of Barnwell.
In reply to NYCGURU
Guyana not making anything over 230.. this done and the jags not making the semis
In reply to NYCGURU
Made his 40 or 50and then left the crease... Unfortunate runout of Taylor there.
Scorpions 154-5 (29.4 ov) vs Jaguars
Thomas 7*
Next inCampbell
In reply to NYCGURU
Taylor run out for 86 after tripping. What a way to go. The young man must be devastated.
In reply to yardman83
I have never heard of this fella Taylor, could someone say something about him, seems like he's heading in the right direction.
In reply to mikesiva
Really unfortunate not to get a ton as he played very well. The single was really not on, as the ball was stroked firmly and straight to mid on.
In reply to Bigzinc
With Taylor out can we make 230?
In reply to mikesiva
300 should be the target with Campbell and Powell to bat.
In reply to granite
He is a part of the USA cricket team and was drafted as one of our overseas players on the back of some good performances in the CPL.
In reply to yardman83
American born and bred of Jamaican parents. All his cricket was learnt in the USA.
In reply to Rastaman
Thanks mate,I remember him and if I recall,he's a big bloke, lastly, could he play for Windies.
In reply to yardman83
Thomas out to Barnwell for 17. It's up to Powell and Campbell now.
In reply to granite
Well, that's a stretch right now. But to answer your question, technically he can.
In reply to granite
If eoin Morgan can play for England then Steven Taylor can play for the west indies.
In reply to mikesiva
There may be a residency requirement, but as far as I know he could represent Windies even though he's played for the US. Like most representatives of lower-ranked Associates, he'll do whatever it takes to play at the 'higher level'. Heck, that's why he suited up for Jamaica in the first place when given the offer.
Jamaica 229/5 44.0ovrs
Powell 24* Campbell 35*
In reply to yardman83
Powell out for 24 to Beaton with the team total one short of 230.
Scorpions 229-6 (44.1 ov) vs Jaguars
Campbell 35*
Scorpions 239-7 (46.3 ov) vs Jaguars
Campbell 41*
silly run out that Campbell
In reply to Rastaman
Out for 42.
Jamaica 250 up.
In reply to Rastaman
Seems like he was dropped. I think he thought he was caught which is why he did not go through seriously with the run.
Campbell run out (Chandrika) 42, direct hit from mid-on
J. Taylor 6*, Miller 0*, Ex 17
In reply to yardman83
poor on his part...he must run thru and don't take for granted that the ball will be caught
Scorpions 254-9 (49.2 ov) vs Jaguars
Miller 1*
all out
how long is the break?
In reply to Rastaman
I agree.
In reply to doosra

Jacobs 0-54 (8 )
Permaul 0-44 (8 )
Bishoo 0-37 (7)
Barnwell 2-45 (10)
In reply to mikesiva
I think we are 40 to 50 runs short based on the platform we had at 30 overs.
The chase starts now
Fudadin & Chandrika open the batting,
J. Taylor opens the bowling from the Malcolm Marshall End (south)
In reply to mikesiva
We should start talking to him,I am sure the Jamaican team mates are talking to him about it.
1.3 ov Leveridge to Fudadin, 4 RUNS, inside-edged leaving alone to deep fine leg,
5-0
Chandrika runs himself out and then fretting with fudadin
fudadin defends and chandrika keeps running despite a loud NO
silly
In reply to Narper
Chandrika just ran himself out
In reply to openning
Not that there's any reason necessary to drop chandrika...that's a given
but if Guyana loses here he should be dropped
They need to show Leveridge some youtube clips of how to bowl yorkers and slower balls. He is lacking in variation. Too predictable...
first look at leveridge
that lever is about 14.97
In reply to yardman83
He has to work on it continuously in the nets. Repetetion is how he will master his craft.
Jaguars 39-1 (10 ov)
Fudadin 18*, Reifer 2*
The new soldier boy looks like he no more than medium pace on this track?
In reply to tc1
So use this track next time so that Shane doh tuck tail and run.
Guyana 70/1 16.0ovrs
Fudadin 28* Reifer 20*
Not seeing where the next wicket coming from...no penetration
if Guyana reach 150 before Shiv arrive....it is over...Scorpions need to get to Shiv quickly before 150 is posted and hope to dismiss him cheaply.
In reply to JahJah
who won the game
Guyana 94/1 21.0ovrs
Fudadin 44* Reifer 26*
Target: 256
Guyana 100/1 23.0ovrs

runout lazy Fuda
Fudadin runout. Looks like the only way we gonna get anyone out
. r.o. got 2 wickets so far.
In reply to yardman83
Yes... the bowling looks flat and listless... very disappointing...Taylor and Leveridge barely beat the bat earlier.
Jaguars 124-2 (28.2 ov) vs Scorpions

Now Jacobs, Guyana does not deserve to go through, some very ordinary players in this side.
Lol Jacobs.
Jaguars 164-6 (40.1 ov) vs Scorpions
Chanderpaul 17*
In reply to Narper
Shiv gone now.
Jaguars 165-7 (40.3 ov) vs Scorpions
Bramble 1*
Dis dun
Campbell pelting dem dung? That's a doosie.
Can someone explain why Bramble is batting after Jacobs and Barnwell?
So the jokey Muddies send Jacobs before Bramble.
In reply to voiceofreason
and this man batting well for a long time
real jokers
Guyana 204/7 45.0ovrs
Bramble 25* Permaul 14*
53 from 30 balls
Miller giving the game away with lollies
In reply to doosra
Nikita Miller getting lixx! Them man say he deserves a recall. Even Permaul should have come ahead of Jacobs.
32 off 18. Very gettable.
Miller needs to take himself off!!
32 from 18
I've always felt that Bramble is good a wicketkeeper batsman...
In reply to yardman83
No need for him to do that. Good entertainment.
In reply to yardman83

Taylor on di prowl
Miller again??
Ok. Guy just blocking now
6 and out.
In reply to JahJah
A win but I do not like this bowling effort. Not a winning bowling unit if you ask me.
In reply to yardman83
It isn't at all. Guy shouldn't have made 200 after they took out Shiv.
Not to mention the shoddy start.
Jaguars 235 all out (49.4 ov)
Beaton 1*
SCORPIONS WON BY 20 RUNS
In reply to JahJah
lots of runs in the wicket, we should put up a total of around 285!
In reply to camos
The score would have approached 300 if S. Taylor didn't perish on 86...what a sad way to go!
Why Campbell did not open when there is a vacancy for that position in Windies team?
In reply to XDFIX
Coz he was floundering at the position before and had to be moved o the middle, I guess.
In reply to voiceofreason
Dem cyah get the 50 over formula right.
