ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board’s Selection Panel today announced the 15-man training squad for the upcoming ODI Series against England.

The Panel also announced the West Indies Cricket Board’s President’s XI 12-man squad to face England in a 50-over match.

The 15-man squad will have a camp in the build-up to the three-match rubber against the visitors. The squad will arrive in Antigua later this week and will work under the guidance of new Head Coach Stuart Law.

The WICB President’s XI will play against England on Monday, February 27 at Warner Park in St Kitts.

Bishoo instead of Benn is a good pick. England's batsmen have been historically known to be rabbits against wrist spin.

Something wrong with the squad....not enough Bajans...only 8...I'd bet the test team will have at least that many....

Nice to see young players like Cornwall, Ambris, etc.. getting in the Pres Eleven after showing go promise in the recent tournament.

The ODI squad look weak in the bowling department. Alzarri not look the part yet as an IDO fast bowler. Need to learn more control and ability to bowl to the set field. I would put him in the President Eleven then draft him in for the Barbados ODI depend on how he bowled in the Pres Eleven after specific instructions.

Cummins can't even make Barbados side...Wtf?

Maybe the selectors are suggesting that Barbados is so "deep" at the bowling position that there was no room for him. I think not!

Makes no sense...how the heck is Cummings good enough for international competition but can't make a Barbados team full of medium pacers?

Because the captain (medium pace..Holder) has to play...and WCT20 hero Carlos Braithwaite has to play.

I agree with your assessment of Joseph...but with Kemar Roach (Barbados) trying to make a comeback, it's likely that Joseph may be the odd man out.

Carter Cummins dowrich and Carlos all underperformed in the last odi series and the just concluded super 50. This training squad is like a minibus running from Rockley to Bridgetown. Nuff bajan passengers.

Carter performed better than Powell, Dowrich did not play on this tour, Cummins played 1 game, CB did not have a good series.
