Dear Mother England,

There is now a dearth of cricketing talent in the region and our administrators haven't got a clue as to how to construct a long term sustainable solution. We have been languishing in the wilderness for over twenty tears and our current team is a disgrace. In short, our cricket has gone to the dogs.

We know it was a deliberate policy on your part to weaken our team and strengthen your lions when you implemented without conscience, restrictions on our players who played country cricket.

It is true Mother England that India has spared us some junk food but this is unsustainable...we need to fend for ourselves again sooner rather than later.

Some of us in the Caribbean were hoping against hope that our administrators would have responded to the challenge and crisis and to do the needful to fill the void. This has not happened and will never happen with this current thoughtless regime. And Caricom is divided on this issue like a box of Leggo building bricks.

It is for this reason Mother England, and until we get rid of Dave Cameron and his bunch of worthless acolytes, I am hoping like abandoned kids you will hear our cries for help. We beseech thee that even if this is the last thing you do for us...be merciful and hear our prayers. Let our boys into the county circuit again.

Thanking you in anticipation of an urgent and prompt response.

God save our Queen.

That Lords outfield of today looks like that of the Beausejour Cricket Ground of yesteryear. Shameful.

Mother England do have their own problems.

West Indies will compete in a few matches because England will play down to their opposition, as India did in the 4th ODI.

Yesterday, my cousin was up 4-1 in the first set. Then I decided to wake up and eventually dismantled him 7-5 6-1. I won 12 of the last 14 games.

isn't it a twist of irony that we have fallen to such a dismal level in world cricket that we are now begging mercy from a cricket nation that is partly responsible for the demise of WI cricket!

Her Majesty! Send word to your boys to 'go slow' on wi bwoys...WI have to be in CWC '19! If you do, granny, nanny of the windies (your favorite former territories) N I will be happy N glad!

I think the top sides now see the West Indies as opposition where they can rotate the squad.

I take great pleasure in ruffling some feathers around here and the persons who are not emotionally mature take it personally and react negatively.

And the thread predicted the childish mannerism. It's a good measure of the index of their minds.

A particular itch (rhyhmes with witch and bitch) wishes I would be banned so she can get a peace of mind.

You have to get a few of the UWI intellectuals to beg Her Majesty..Hillary Beckles has to withdraw all his lectures on reparations.

The blood pressure of our resident UWI intellectual has reached intolerable limits. She may some toof.

This in house hypocrite may not be up to this task.

As for Sir Hillary, he has enough difficulty collecting fees owing to the University from Caribbean governments. I will spare him the task.
