Trinidad and Tobago leg-spinner Sameer Ali continued to impress in the Regional Under-17 Championship, grabbing six wickets for nine runs from 6.3 overs to set up his team’s easy eight-wicket win over Guyana in their third round match at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, yesterday.
After two early strikes by T&T pacers Jayden Seales (one for 13) and Ronaldo Forester (one for 11), Sameer Ali and Nicholas Ali (two for five) combined to quickly wrap up the Guyana innings, dismissing the visitors for 38.
