Since Zimbabwe I saw Hope
He might of scored runs in England but he is not the answer to our batting problems

Mate, young batsmen never get tired...they just want to play and bat and bat. Shai just needs a kick up his arse to bang start him.

young players do get mentally tired. I think it has been a long stretch away from home for this team.
In reply to methodic
long stretch?
like 6 test matches in 3 months?
what did i miss?
In reply to methodic
If you are tired then opt out and let someone else take your spot.
Will he drop out of the limited overs squad?
I don't think so.
Once you accept the invitation you have to perform.
In reply to methodic
Cut the damn crap.
Man can tired playing 6 test match in 3 months ? So 11 in 12 months woulda kill him ??
Shai Hope is still pretty ordinary. Had a breakout inning but still habe a long way to go

its like college players going to the pros. Its take some time to become seasoned.

Dude, just the travelling to three different country/continents.
Shai just need to get home, have a few days at the beach, get hold of his batting coach, and work on what he think are his flaws.
That goes for all the players, it very hard to do this on tour.

It's that easy? Brother, no test batsman worth his salt would get out the way Shai and Kraigg got out today.
Those guys are mental midgets.
Just picture Chanderpaul in his heyday getting an opportunity to bat for two days.

I think this year will go a long way to him building stamina, both mental and physical.

Lol..I have heard it all..hexcuses hexcuses
well Chase has about 40-50 more runs that Hope in same number of games, what you guys think of him?
In reply to Courtesy
that answers your question right there

I did not see the dismissals.
Kraigg has a problem with his set up, I saw from watching the first match inNZ, he has an open stance, but move in left foot in line with his right foot, just before the bowler deliver, leaving the weight on his front foot, his next movement his either moving backward or playing from the crease.
It is a fix he can correct, by learning beginners Kizomba, beginners, Left, Right, Left. Left, Right, Left, note: in order to move the left for after the first movement, you have to be on your toes after the first section of the dance.
The Camera angle was right over the stumps when the batsman was batting, it gave me the opportunity watch carefully as to why Kraigg was getting trap in his crease, and not able to have fluent drives like others..

If every time you come to bat team in trouble it will wear you down.
Windies made colossal mistake in batting Hetmeyer at 3. That is too much pressure for youngster starting his career.
In reply to rubberd
Bro, whether it was at there, five or seven, the youngster has not played enough cricket to be force into Internationals.
Had he made the Guyana regional team at 17 years and had years of scoring runs regionally, then it would had been wise to select him.
He is a baby

man is 8 hours to England from Barbados
another 8 hours or so to Zimbabwe
and maybe another 15 hours to New Zealand
what am i missing?
tired? dude dude
In reply to rubberd
point taken. Am saying no one has issues with Chase who has almost identical record.
In reply to doosra
It is being able to work on one's game, instead of preparing for a tournament
If you listened to the commentary last night, it was explain by a former Black Cap.
In reply to LBW375
Agree that breakout inning was an aberration .... he still not there yet
