Darn.... you mean to say none of them slow bowlers didn't try pitching it up on his Off Stump...

Seriously though...What more must Devon do?
In reply to voiceofreason
Back in the day, he would captain the President's XI against a touring team....
What would be the point of bringing him back now! Other than personal vindication.
Pick him.. don't pick him... Devon will not improve W.I's chances....
In reply to Elsie
At least we would not be putting another young lamb to slaughter and possibly ruining their careers: Hope, Powell, Hetmyer. Let Devon be a stopgap until they are truly ready. Powell could bat in the middle order if need be.
Did Miller play?
In reply to JahJah
Miller played in the last match yet Smith managed to score a century. So what's your point?
Let's not forget, Smith also went to the UK recently to harness his game also participated in a tournament which he performed remarkably.

Congrats Twinkle Toes!
You continue to do as is expected of you -dominate at this level.
Pity you are always ruthlessl5ess exposed when promoted to the higher level -as your low 20s average, after 38 tests - confirms.
Real pity!
In reply to Elsie
Congrats on what.
That's like celebrating eating a midday food.
