Melbourne Renegades vs Brisbane Heat,

Melbourne Renegades Innings 137-3 (18.4

Brisbane Heat Innings 132-8 (20)

Dwayne Bravo 4 overs 27 runs 2 wickets

Brisbane Heat post a below-par score of 132. In the absence of Lynn and Burns, one of the top-order batsmen had to bat big. Unfortunately for the Heat, that wasn' the case. McCullum was dismissed for a cheap score and the visitors lost three wickets in the powerplay amassing just 29 runs. Labuschagne and Alex Ross did steady the ship, but the former perished trying to up the ante. Ross did shift his gears by playing few exuberant shots, but it was too tough to go after Bravo, who was excellent in the death overs. This is a two paced track and the pacers can trouble the batsmen by varying their pace.

Sometimes I feel administrtors do not see what is good for WI cricket. Not just now, even in the past. There is no consistent player development, administration and succession planning.
