Cro Cro has competition now
In reply to Narper
So...you vex wid somebody behaviour so your response is to imitate it?
Distasteful...
In reply to Narper
Your turn now.
BTW this fool is not even in Cro Cro's class.
In reply to DAVE400
Narper approves the message.
In reply to Narper
he coulda seh dih same thing if he did follow sparrow and dem man who killed double entendre
isn't this part of a bigger problem with the "organised noise" industry tho?
the main difference is some isht will smell stinker than others...
this is bound to happen with so much crap passing for "music"
even the beat...just 1 2 1 2
crap man
raise your game
In reply to voiceofreason
pardnah...is the selective condemning while encouraging the other that does cause divisiveness...
cro-cro is a skunt...and anyone that imitate just imitating a skunt..and most likely will succeed in being a skunt...
It really is that simple...
In reply to voiceofreason
So Cro Cro gats class when he does the same thing
Ah gat ya.
PNM women slam Rowley mother song
Yesterday, Planning and Development Minister Camille Robinson-Regis joined the chorus of opposition to the play of words, describing it as distasteful and loathsome.
No matter what someone may feel about Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, at least the office he holds should be respected, Robinson-Regis said.
Link Text
Rowley blasted for Jamettery comment
Among them, UNC Chairman and Pointe-a-Pierre Member of Parliament David Lee, questioned why the Prime Minister constantly degraded women as he (Lee) called on the country to unite and condemn the statement.
Why would a leader, who is supposed to promote respect towards women, look to degrade a female leader who has contributed so much to our national development? Lee asked.
He said the language is unbecoming of a person who holds high office.
Link Text
How many commented on Rowley for the above comments.
The funny part she was correct in the fake Oil scandal.
Now you see why its wise to stay outta T&T and its
problems.
In reply to sgtdjones
Ah never hear any ah dem condemn Cro Cro et al
Too many hypocrites in the land
You know what....Rowlee mudda count !!!
In reply to Narper
Rowley deserves what he gets
He lies as much as Trump
He is a very poor leader
Why condemn Cro Cro man, he is one ah we, dem will say
In reply to doosra
crap man
raise your game
Artistes give de people what dem want....
How many proclaimed when Cro Cro was singing his songs
let's avoid his appearances?
Now the PNM saying such !!!
Isn't that two face, we can do it but nobady else can.
In reply to Narper
Narps
Just ignore some of the comments.
Ah was still living in T&T when Crazy...'Paul yuh mudda come' was a big hit
Paul yuh mudda come
In reply to sgtdjones
At least Cro Cro had talent. What is this fool's claim to fame? Can't sing, can't perform, can't write Mudda Count?
In reply to voiceofreason
so talent cover for the nonsense?
In reply to Narper
Paul you mudda come was not directed at the head of state. BTW that is a 10 times better double entendre and production than this shite that I could only bear to listen one verse of. Man have real idle time.
In reply to doosra
Cro Cro took on Sat Maraj's comments on pan trinbago and even called out his own race in lick bottom african and other songs. He challenged and questioned common entrance results etc. Was he controversial and divisive yes? But in most cases he was simply answering back.
If this joker had made a song over Rowley calling Kamla a Jamerette then I could understand but why he disrespecting his Mother?
What I am saying is that he should find something that Rowley said and throw it back at him. Nothing wrong with that.
In reply to voiceofreason
Is jus jealous yuh jealous
You want me to call in Rikiniki

So some are allowed to give but can't take, calypsonians have been directing their ditties in Indos direction for years yet no outburst, this though has brought out condemnation.I have heard Cro Cro,but his songs never brought out as much as a whisper,I have always heard songs about Indos, many were derogatory and some were funny, this one "Rowlee mother count" is definitely in Cro Cro's class,if anybody wants to used the word class to describe them.TT is a society of Bacchanal origins, they won't change now,the other half is picking up and learning well.
Link Text
Blackman dey look for that as Cro Cro calls out his own race!
Panday the jail is waiting
Gypsy and he chupidness. Where Gypsy now...UNC fack he!
Anyways let me stay out of Tittie politricks see.
In reply to voiceofreason
You just jealous dat he can write better and sing better
calypso's dan you can
In reply to sgtdjones
calypso's dan you can
Is Calypso you call that facteries? Oh lorss...

In reply to voiceofreason
Nothing derogatory about the "blackman"there,he is only trying to educate them because he is a PNM till he dead, couldn't stand to see them lose an election.Isn't that what he is singing about?
In reply to sgtdjones
You just jealous dat he can write better and sing better
calypso's dan you can

AND TO A MUCH LARGER AUDIENCE

In reply to granite
Close.
Nothing derogatory. He simply was telling them to educate themselves and stay in tune to what is happening in the country and take part in the political process. Most of them did not bother to vote or take part on the political process and as a result the PNM lost.
In reply to granite
When Sugar Aloes....who had claimed he was a PNM fuh life ....and sang how Panday's wife was a kitchen mechanic....but in his later years....hang he head weh de loup was leaking....and sang positively for Kamla.....he was ostracized.....why????
You and I know why
In reply to Narper
Just because a Man plays to a larger audience does not mean he is better than the one who plays to a smaller audience.
In reply to Narper
Narps
Dats funny, ah on the floor
Whey VOR?

In reply to Narper
Rightfully he was ostracized. He deserve that baptism in Skinner park bout 'She's royal'. He sold out!!! One thing in Calypso you don't sell out. "I hear in the doldrum takeing me blows, I ent drinking nothing like Sugar Aloes". Now that is Kaiso not that Chutney fack that clown singing.

How is it distasteful...this is classic trini culture
Are you ashamed??? and why?
In reply to voiceofreason
How so....she was in office for only one year....was it because she was Indo...de only reason?
Isn't that your main point.....Chutney is fact ....and should have no place in trini culture....many trinis think exactly like you....unfortunately more than half a million trinis think otherwise
In reply to Narper
Listen to the song the Man get a piece of Land a Vigo. He sell out simple. She's royal my arse! She in office for a year and she royal already?'
Isn't that your main point.....Chutney is fact ....and should have no place in trini culture....many trinis think exactly like you....unfortunately more than half a million trinis think otherwise
I like the fusion of the Indian and African rhythms as that is authentically TnT but most of the singers cannot sing and their lyrical content is limited to rum til i die and Ramsingh Sharma.
A Cro Cro Gem:
Nobody eh go know He won with this one. The funny side of Cro Cro.
In reply to Narper
Narps, I hear you bro!
When every man jack was laffin at Kamla pipe, and drunken sailor, it was fair game
Camomile didnt have respect for the office it represented then
When Crazy sang about Paul, your mother is here nobody thought it was distasteful then or sympathised with Paul
Now an almighty outrage
Haul allyuh skin- ent Carnival culture is picong?
Take licks and hush
In reply to Narper
I have nothing to be shame bout...but i dont believe in perpetuating hate and anger...
Kind of Buddhist in meh old age...
Exceptions made for bitcoin crooks
In reply to DAVE400
As a Trini, I disagree
I see none of what you noted above
We are known for picong
Narps is correct if I picong someone,
I expect twice as much in return.
The Indians in Trinidad are referred to as meek,
and walk away if confronted.
It's about time the young generation show some balls.
Rowley loves to give,
When it is returned, he wants a physical confrontation.
A sign of a poor leader.
Manning noted such.
I have a few coins and am not a crook.
Its a shit rendition....nothing like Paul yuh mudda come..
It's shitty bad...anyone can say anyone 'mudda come'...no comparison to Paul/Haul yuh mudda come..
It's almost childish this one..no artistic value whatsoever..hard to listen to pleh..
Fuck both Rowley and kamla BTW..And without grease.
Define jammettery?
In reply to sgtdjones
Indo Trinis are the biggest set of pantyseeds I've ever come across. They make Indo Guyanese men appear manly.
In reply to bravos
The clown who came up with this concept needs a good bull pistle pon he rass!
To call that shite art is a stretch!
Paul you mother come was a creative piece:
She come in the party hot and sweaty
Say she looking for her man
I was with me cousin
Coursing a moccasin
When all of a sudden
I don't know what it is happen
Inside the party she tell the MC
'Paul you mother come' x3
Paul you mother come from America
Now that is artistry! That is Kaiso! For the record I ent have no problem with picong but make use some creativity no.
In reply to bravos
that is your biased view
In reply to Devin
Trini language this mean WHORING
That comes the Prime Minister's mouth....to the FEMALE opposition leader ...and former Prime Minister
In reply to Devin
I guarantee you....you are talking about indo trinis on THIS BOARD...those who like to pretend there are no racial problems in T&T....and racial problems only exist with the 'racist' muddies
I have been closely associated with UWI academia in research in the 1970-1980s ....later became very close to some Ministers of the NAR government....when I tell you racism exists in T&T...I am not speaking out of the rim of my ass..like many do here
I have rubbed shoulders with Indo trinis at UWI and worked with unpretentious genuine down to earth trinis in T&T for years....and they are NOT 'pantyseeds' whatever that really mean ....they do feel terribly discriminated against...
they would tell me.....what was happening in de Mudland ( 1970-80s ) would never happen in T&T....in fact they said muddies were too soft...
If pantyseed mean pretenders than you are right
I here reading and laughing. The song is not or not meant to be in the competitive type calibre of a Cro Cro rendition.
Just a simple calypso poking fun at Rowley.
But when they was disrespecting and dismissing Panday's wife as a loose woman wid songs like Oma's Big Account and Aloes ripping her apart in kaiso noone was crying out including Women's movements.
The Indians finally retaliating!
In reply to bravos
A agree!
In reply to voiceofreason
This guy is good.
Misprint - Nermal "Massive" Gosein
In reply to sgtdjones
He trying hard but the original from Pink Panther is way better: Pink Panther misprint
In reply to Narper
No that's my educated view as a Trini and the understanding of my dialect..I repeat "Paul(HAUL) yuh mudda come" (from America) and anybody mudda count/come is no comparison...NONE..
In reply to XDFIX
Dey don't get it..some blinded by the tribal and political agenda..any convenient crap will smell nice..
Buh dis dougla is de antidote..
Both sides mudda come!
In reply to voiceofreason
Chalk and cheese...dem men on other heights...no win...
For BASIC artistic value ALONE there's NONE.
In reply to bravos
For you too......its obvious which side you on....and which crap would not smell nice for you
For what?
Being dougla don't give you a free pass....don't make you more trini than anybody...or unbiased......as they come.....but that is your right....to be whatever.....but don't pretend...because YOU ARE NEVER NEUTRAL...antidote mih ass
BTW.....your initial reaction to this song is "bad taste"....now you are comparing...whether it is as good as Crazy's Paul yuh mudda Come....and whether the singer can sing...come on
Bottom line....Rowlee mudda count....and dat hurt you....so don't talk bout others being blinded by the tribal and political agenda..any convenient crap will smell nice..
Read what Bajan top calypsonian Analyst-kid says on this thread
Just a simple calypso poking fun at Rowley.

Boi, I'm just sitting enjoying my cup of tea & enjoying this thread. btw, everybloody sleeping, but aunty has gone to wuk. She comes from a dirt poor background - wha u gwine do....
In reply to BeatDball
Dong here aunty in bed
In reply to Narper Well...enjoy that nice start for xmas.
In reply to bravos
Merry Christmas bro!
I aint blinded by political nutting and especially not tribal business
But the same artistic attributes yuh ascribe the Crazy song, we can say that Gosein cites the current praedial larceny epidemic and a striving farmer, counting her produce as any responsible and forward thinking woman would do, who might have one day raised up a PM from her family. In this piece she displays good stewardship with her lot in life.
Damn, look out Walcott! Move over Naipaul!
In reply to BeatDball
Same to you bro
All de best
In reply to Halliwell
Its obvious Bravos din't go past the refrain "Rowlee mudda count'
Merry Christmas to you and family
In reply to Narper
And you bro!
Bravos is usually always right... Bravs, what local wine you been drinking pardnah?
In reply to bravos True that. One of the worst double entendres I have heard and don't talk about the video.
Merry Christmas and Hapoy Holidays to all!
Everybody including Rowley HYMC...have yourself a merry Christmas.
In reply to DAVE400
I couldn't put it any better, too many hypocrites in TT,some like to give but can't take, that's how I see it from far off.
In reply to voiceofreason
Dude, thanks but no thanks
We have enough division in T&T
This may be a one star song, but its judged by a different metric anyway
Carnival is we ting only when its performed by the correct we
The other we should stick to making eye candy fete photos and pretending to know how to do Carnival
In reply to Halliwell
I just find the man ain sounding nowhere good...I listen to all dougla music (fusion) almost every day btw..and enjoy good chutney regularly..the man just rel light that's all..
And I mentioned 'some' ...they know who they are..
All the best..
In reply to Narper
Please refer to above post...I am a walking living ultimate example of all you trying to trivialize and rationalize...allyuh havta to politely ask me my opinion cause it's valid...more so than any one side...
Merry xmas bredda..
This is not the first time a "Dougla" fly up in the face of the Trini calypso fraternity with a calypso.
In 1961 the Mighty Dougla (deceased 1970) beat the world famous PNM supporting Mighty Sparrow in the calypso king competition with a song relating to the recently completed elections and racial rivalry..
Song starts at 0.57
In reply to sgtdjones
Good what? Ah hope he give Pink Panther royalties
In reply to bravos
I agree- the song is utter rubbish
But I was having a problem with the nouveau outrage and new respect baseline expected
In reply to Maispwi
He actually mentions Pink Panther in the song...he not being discreet about the plagiarism...
In reply to bravos
Who is doing dat....not me....but you are....you think you are de expert ONLY because you are dougla...NONESENSE I say
I don't know why being dougla automatically qualifies you as any expert
But Okay....
Tell us about yuh best chutneys songs and artistes...that should be easy right?
Tree-knees are fun people - alyuh leave them alone.
In reply to BeatDball
Dougla beat ball
Many Trinis are pretenders
In reply to bravos
You are a Trini as I am, you aren't any ultimate example.Where did you get such from?.
Since when Douglas is such ?.
I admit you have the right to your opinion, but doh come
on a Board and paint with a broad brush about T&T.
I would like you to explain agenda driven since it's your way out of a debate.Provide proof, not trivial summations.
Trinidad and Tobago don't need you nor anyone to defend her, the politicians are doing a great job of such taking her into poverty.
For anyone who wants to know, T&T is no dam paradise. It has racial politics, a divided country and a failed one that should be in a better economic position.
The young Indian Trini's aren't meek as their parents were, they will stand up.
Anyway, I see Narps is taking you on.
In reply to sgtdjones
You jokey, why am I not surprised that you would take the simplistic route,do I have to break it down for you all the time?
The bigger point was my vantage point gave/gives me the opportunity to see much more than any of you...geez you guys light...Do I have to explain 'my vantage point' too??
Regarding the song I maintain that it's crap by any standard and in any genre..
Bye now...enough of this divisive crap for me,fell right into the trap..
ta ta...
In reply to Narper
Above...
Later...
In reply to Halliwell
Nah I just find it real tasteless and shitty,no matter who the PM is,this is the lowest of the low...so everybody go sing about de man mother c@nt now?..nah....steups..
In reply to bravos
In my brief stay at this site too date, I have yet to see you provide any facts in a debate.
As I noted you come on as some expert on T&T and you are not.
It's time you cut out the crap about agenda driven, now its simplistic route, it is what I call BS.
I never asked you for your opinion about the song?, I view such as your business not mine.
You have no vantage point that gives you any more insight than any Trini, ie is again all BS. Nor do I care about such point, it has no effect on me.
It was no decisive crap, you showed your true colors.
T&T is a divided Country.
Just as your PM he can give, but cant take.
I grew up in a family where we go straight to the point, we don't deviate. Growing up in the Bush from Moruga and Cedros, honed me well.
Peace
In reply to sgtdjones
Tongue man always tink deh know everyting
In reply to bravos
Above...
Later..
Yeah right....yuh have to research you chutney and chutney singers......right?
Yuh see....I could name off my head many....calypso/soca and chutney and Bollywood .....like thousands of trinis could
Being dougla don't make you an expert
In reply to bravos
For your attorney to be meritorious,
he must show, he asked for the similar protocol
when others were being sung about.
If not, you both are at the same detestable level.
ps Are you aware that lawyers in a poll were shown to be the most distrustful of all the occupations, and that included used car salesmen, that were submitted?
I see why you done here.

It is the holidays.....time to be festive!

Chuntney promoters ban the song
Songs written by Leston Paul
Would love to hear VOR condemn the writer of Who Let the Dogs Out and Hot Hot Hot...

Sorry...I find this development really funny....
The song is one thing...the video is another thing entirely.
In reply to Narper
Racist to the core
Leston Paul is the greatest calypso arranger/producer in the world.
He is credited for arranging/producing PAN IN A MINOR and PAN IN DANGER among many other big hits.
He is even produced/arranged songs for me. He is a legend.
In reply to Narper
hey Narps
Me tinks Chrissy gats a secret crush on ya
In reply to Chrissy
Okay...Leston Paul is racist...
Paul, your muddah count your sellout money?
Even Sat says ban all offensive music. The question is: What isn't offensive these days?
Too many artists are strectching the limits...but people are only responding to the ones that they find offensive.
In the mean time the music plays on.
In reply to sgtdjones
REALLY, one of the highest rates for tertiary education in the western hemisphere, The western hemisphere's lowest electricity and water charges, and despite contentious race- influenced politics, not one single act of political violence during a general election. If that is a failed state, well then it can't be so bad. U really live in morouga de boss, away from everything and everybody. The fact that UAE and Saudi Arabia finally introduced VAT on their countries due to economic troubles caused by low energy prices means that they must be failed states also, right?
In reply to DAVE400
Alyuh know....too many HYPOCRITES AROUND
All ah dem MUDDA count
In reply to Narper
I'll be inside front row centre *reserved for right thinkers and winners, you guys can stay outside with Massive Flop Gosine and the losers and count mothers.
Chutney art-form people say so nuh me..

In reply to Jumpstart
You dealing with a real self hater there pal,an alter-ego in limbo..
Doh worry you know it ain have nutten like a Trini rising, the world has no choice but to take note,we will rise out of these times of higher standards and expectations,it is good that only greatness is expected of us,they can't hit us the harmless peasant island pity covfefe because when they look around they see we have all that they have and even more in this lil rich place,so they go low and deep and set unreasonable expectations..
We are growing and with growth comes pain, but in the whole scheme of things nothing but trivia when compared to their advanced societies where you can get murdered for a number of reasons in a number of places from a number of people, even people with degrees may be your killer..that look more like a failed state to me when it's so bad you can't tell the difference and nowhere is safe..
Imagine people getting gunned down in a soca concert, man dey go say ban soca and carnival, dat make de man kill everybody..pleh..
In reply to Jumpstart
This is a typical response from individuals who cannot recondite the subject of T&T.Including the poster above trying to ameliorate the suffering of people who have been caught in entanglements.
GATE program is being cut in 2018.
Garcia said Government expected to save $100 million in the first year and $200 million from next year.
67% of the population has water 24/7
75 % of the population has electricity 24/7
T&T averages 40 murders per month.
The Governments of T&T over that last decade plus received over 100 billion from The Gas and Oil sector to service approx 5500 sq km.
The ferry service from Trinidad to Tobago, it will soon be a year since this quagmire started, no end in sight.
Approx 20 % of the population lives in an impecunious situation.
Let's look at the infrastructure, bad roads, water lines
lack of housing 50,000 presently needed.
Laventille, Beetham and La Brea neglected for over 50 years.
Schools and Police stations needed.
T&T ranked in the top ten when Crime is being bandied about. The objective of governments is to protect its citizens. Citizens shouldn't have to live behind wire mesh on home windows.
Now, 100 billion dollars later, two little islands and the above still exist.
If you had an inkling of Economics, one would note that what the population thinks is free, is taxpayers money that has been badly wasted.
So what did the government do with such funds PetroTrin and Wasa billions, etc etc in debt that will be the burden of future generations?
The HSF will run out in 3 years leaving 3 months worth of foreign exchange.
T&T has been in a recession over the last three years and the public debt will exceed GNP by 2020.
In the boom years, we built buildings in POS, if all of the toilets were flushed the city will flood.A regular occurrence during rainfall.
Any rainfall and in the low lying areas floods occur, today, more than 50 years ago.
I can continue, but you are of the opinion its a paradise. In a democracy, we are all allowed to have opinions.
I grew up in Moruga and Cedros on two farms. My family still owns from late 1800's, plus a few business that make a profit and Forex for the government.
We have oil and gas wells pumping, since the middle of the 1900's. We pay a lot of taxes each year to help build this country since the late 1800's.
It leaves me with a good assessment of Trinidad and Tobago, so I am not away from everything and everybody as you suggest.
I have not and will not support any political party in this country, they do not have any inclination of good government and has lead T&T to a failed state status.
Peace
In reply to sgtdjones
GATE was never sustainable anyways Sherlock. Im speaking of the persons who already graduated. Gate is being reorganized, yes but secondary schooling is still free. It is not in many of the other islands. Jamaicans for example have to pay for CXC exams. Some of them go through form 4 and form 5 and do not do the exam because they cannot afford to sit it.
Secondly, as with all ignorant persons( although you present an extreme case), you have missed key parts of TT's story. If TT was relying on oil alone, we would have been bankrupt a long while back. The recession if the 80s should have cripled us to the point of no return. But through sound fiscal management and the monetizing of our gas fields and the floating of the dollar, we were able to come out of that recession(which was ten times worse than the current one) and enjoy unprecedented wealth. How you think we paid for GATE, CDAP and all the other programmes?
Most oil and gas producing countries do not have an industrial estate. Which is why TT 's own was novel then and still novel to an extent now so that companies are still attracted to the facility which was Prof Ken Julien's creation and the one which launched his career as an energy czar who helped establish industries in Ghana, Tanzania etc.
De boss if you want to continue in your self hating ways, fine by me. But i know a lot of countries would kill to have what TT has and kill for what TT has achieved.
Maybe your idea of a successful country is Singapore which is indeed successful but is probably and has been the least democratic democracy in the entire world and hence conpeting voices are minimised or eliminated. But i and most Trinidadanian's with an iota of sense recognize that Trinidad and Tobago has been extremely fortunate but also has accomplished things that would seem well beyond us....but carry on
It is true that the HSF fund will run out in 3 years but you are also assuming that we won't be getting any forex. The current taxing regime with tge oil and gas companies instituted in 2014 has resulted in the country loosing well over US 1 billion dollars in revenue, which is partially why we are in recession.Under the current taxing regime, we don't collect any tax if the price is under $50 per barrel which was the case for the majority of 2015, all of 2016 and most of 2017, marinate on that . That is being addressed so it won't be that we won't be collecting anything. Thirdly, we are being taxed to protect what we have. All our social programmes and so on are funded entirely by the state. And even oil prices are recovering. Do you prefer that we spend like ballers and end up in the clutches of an IMF programme?
You don't even know the definition of a failed state so I would be quite correct in being skeptical in taking info from
Im sure you are one of those who is going to pontificate about the 1% too right without acknowledging that TT is one of the few countries in the western hemisphere with a tangible middle class.
In reply to Jumpstart
Since you claim to know so much, nothing at Pt Lisas belong to the T&T government or its Citizens.
The government allowed the Foreign companies to write off all its investments via the profits which the taxpayers lost in the first 6 years.
When the gas is finished they can move the plants anywhere the shareholders want; the same as Atlantic LNG.
The GATE graduates, where will they be employed?
Gate has been funded by taxpayers. So it's not free.
I pay for such that I will never use.
The experts gave away the taxpayers inheritance, did T&T get 12.5 % royalties of every ounce of Oil and Gas it got out of the ground.NO
What do you think Canada and America do, they tax at the wellhead. They collect taxes regardless on the price. See how much these experts at T&T knows.
T&T got over 100 billion for 12.5 % since you claim to be in the know. Figure out how much their shareholders got and how the T&T taxpayers got screwed.
Texaco Refinery was bought for a couple of hundred Million. In its head office in White Plains, New York they partied for a year. An outdated refinery sold to fools.
I told Malcolm such in a meeting I had with him at his Office in POS.The same time a few Jews outsmarted him and sold him a process and refinery that cannot work. It's missing loops. Now its classified as JUNK.1.5 billion lost.
The taxpayers of T&T don't have a clue what these experts
did and how they were out manoeuvred.
Mismanagement will soon result in more taxes in T&T,
it has just started.
Didn't these experts build a steel Mill, now the owners are selling it as scrap?
Which Country recognizes T&T University graduates? None
Waste of money again.
Where do you get the idea I hate T&T.I disliked what the past governments did. Waste the Taxpayers inheritance.
I post facts and don't rose color it. Oil prices will not go over $60.00 for the next 5 years. It may have brief moments but will fluctuate.
When citizens have to live behind steel bars on windows an stay inside at night, its a failed state. Since the Government first mandate is to protect its citizens.
You keep on calling T&T successful tell me that in 3 years.
Peace
ps Your dollar is regarded as 30% overvalued abroad.
In reply to sgtdjones
Brent crude is $66 per barrel and texas intermediate is $59.00, but carry on. UWI is a degree mill now....oh ok, well then that isn't so only for Failed State Trinidad and Tobago because by far most of tge graduates in the country come from UWI and tge university is a regional organization with shareholder governments in several of the big islands. Secondly, UTT has made significant inroads in the short period of time it has been around. Its Process Engineering degree is internationally recognized by ICHEME in England. All the technicians on the Industrial estate under 30, where do you think they went to school? UTT and they are being employed by Fortune 500 companies like Nu-Cor's Trinidad company Nu-Iron. But as i said carry on. Just don't blabber conspiracies and expect me not to pull you up
N.B definition of a failed state:
a state whose political or economic system has become so weak that the government is no longer in control
Nothing on PT Lisas belong to Trinidad.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...that was a good one. Breads, companies on the estate have to pay tax big time and they also pay for the supply of gas. I would love to see the country where cats could come in and establish huge businesses for free. And TT also has investments on the estate like MHTL. And i agree with you that the gas to liquids fiasco should have resulted in somebody making a jail big time. Niqauan has revived the gas to liquids project.
Our currency is indeed overvalued. Estimates believe 21-50%. But so is China's, so is the pound in England and even the Rupiah in Indonesia. That is a non factor. If TT was to listen to economists and devalue the dollar to its real value, there would be widespread social unrest which is why when the monetary firms release their reports on overvalued currencies, nobody takes them on because devaluing come with significant social(and political) risks. Hoss TT currency was similarly overvalued even in the milk and honey days of 2003-2008 when the economy grew by 7 percent per year.

Soca bards support Gosein
I would not make any judgment on the calypso because we, at TUCO, do not tell calypsonians what to sing or what to write and with regard to competitions, we do not tell the judges what to select and what not to select but we have strict rules to our competition and once a song falls within the rules we consider it, Masimba said.
If we are to look at the content if Goseins song then we should look at all the content in all songs being played on the radio and that includes the barrage of foreign songs from pop to urban because sometimes I listen to it and tell myself what are we playing to our ears and in the ears of the children, he said. Goseins latest song has triggered a heated online debate on what should pass for composition at the national level.
