B'dos squad: Out goes Stoute Alleyne,Williams
I would drop Carter and the leg spinner Walsh Jr and go for a five prong pace attack along with Warrican and Chase:
Brathwaite
Moseley
Brooks (capt)
Chase
Dowrich
Greaves
Springer
Roach
Cummins
Holder
Warrican
...but I doubt...Carter will play at Springer or Holder's expense.

We are on the same boat, they are my two choices to sit.
Guyana has already won the championship, other team are playing youngsters from the last U9 tournament, both Springer and Holder, should join them
BTW, Carter, Stoute and others, who has been around for a number of years, should be doing what Devon Smith and Shiv are doing, if they want to be selected.
Where suli benn and Dwayne Smith these days?
In reply to openning... why, you see Shiv and Devon getting selected?
My thoughts exactly...expose the youngsters. Springer seems a promising allrounder and Holder touted as the next pacer.

Benn was captaining a team in the Super 50 trials...he topped the overall Super 50 bowling averages last year...I think BENN will be back in the List A fray.
SMITH has retired at a time when his services would be required in ODIs and T20s.

I can see Devon, because an opening slot is available, Shiv shelf life at the International level is over.
I am speaking about regional performance, a Mark Ramp, kind of doing at the county level.
In reply to openning... gotcha!

Site...Holder must play after all the investment put into him.
Jason Holder don't play dung heap anymore?
In reply to Bestian
Yes.... he spent 6 weeks or so in Oz... I will be very interested to see how he looks if he plays... Ive said before on this MB that I have concerns about his action ... I hope that if there were/ are problems that they are being rectified.
This is a big test for Keemo Paul against a strong Bim batting team. He should be a handful on Kensington green top wicket.

With Roach and Cummins its also a strong Bajan bowling team too. With Stoute out there is no supporting stock bowler therefore Chemar Holder and/or Shamar Springer have to step up and claim the fast bowling spots.
My focus this year, was watching players, who show they want to get to the next level, it was not on winning the regional tournament.
Too many of our good players were away.
I am disappointed with Alleyne performance, lets hope this dropping, is a wake up call.
Its time to move away from Stoute and Carter at the 4-day level, and select them for the fifty overs
Stoute will play in the four day team once no fast bowlers has stepped up to that level and either two of Roach,Cummins and Holder unavailable.
Chemar Holder and Springer, we will all be watching their bowling.Stoute has shown he is very capable FC stock bowler who keeps one end quiet while taking the occasional wicket. But once these youngsters announce themselves as strike bowlers...its goodbye Stoute to FC cricket. Stoute can open with Kraigg in the Super 50.
As for Carter..with Moseley,Jones,Alleyne,Springer,Greaves, Walcott all around you can't afford him failing as he does in the four day along with Brooks Chase Hope Dowrich and Kraigg...he is more suited for the List A and CPL.
On another note, Brooks performed well in the CPL last year and he think he should captain the 50 over team also but they most likely are going to defer to last year's winning incumbent captain Jason Holder.

With Roach and Cummins it's also a strong Bajan bowling team too.
Of course...well tested...
Keemo Paul and Kemar are my favourite bowlers.I just want to see how he measures up against this strong Bim batting.
Keemo Paul, Chemar Holder and Shemar Springer are the future for WI pace bowling.
I would have kept Stoute and sit Carter. He is the better allrounder.
