shouting and cussing wicb
but anyone with a brain could see
it wasnt about our cricket legacy
it wasnt about our proud history
it was all about the IPL money

they toss out morality
they forget integrity
they eschew veracity
they embrace mendacity
they dont mind duplicity
they hug up hypocrisy
they dash way our legacy
for the sake of IPL money

they demanded their NOC
thru their attorney
they attacked the WICB
they offered a conditionality
they cited our proud history
never discussed availability
nor mentioned their insincerity
it was all about the IPL money

their prima donna mentality
their star team ideology
that was their identity
it wasnt their deficiency
their lack of technicality
and overall cricket ability
that limited their productivity
then they feigned open honesty
for the Indian IPL money

never heard such scatology
and from the cognoscenti
it was Gibson's physiology
not the prima donnas' inactivity
it wasnt their inconsistency
it was the coach's identity
causing WI to lose constantly
so let them seek the IPL money


our new reality
is that we arent ready
to defend our legacy
to protect our history
dont care who lead we
once there is insularity
no plan or remedy
and so it shall be
the Indian IPL money

to get back to supremacy
we must act responsibly
project a winning philosophy
adopt a positive mentality
practice rigorously
embrace our legacy
remember our history
and forget the IPL money

CWI must manage prudently
treat the players fairly
not with scant respectability
WIPA must represent everybody
test players are its responsibility
not just cricketers regionally
if we do that professionally
we wont need IPL money

and to the players finally
we must bat positively
field with alacrity
and whether slow or quickly
we must bowl wisely
the pitches must be grassy
like Sabina and Kensington used to be
lick down dem Aussies
run bout a few pommies
like we did to Bedi
represent the West Indies
sponsorship, ads and selling jerseys
could earn fame and lots of money
