Why Is The TTCBC Still in Business

Emir 2018-01-24 08:14:28

The TTCB has decided to cut funding to the clubs this year due to the financial challenges it is facing. The organisation revealed that it has gotten 10 percent of its budget of $2.7M submitted to SPORTT, while its major sponsor NGC has not yet given a commitment that the company will be signing a new contract.

There you have it: They are without shame, demanding the government give them tax payers money to run their affairs. Notice their sponsors quit on them.

They want public subsidy, but not accountability, transparency and good governance. Notice, they haven't laid off any administrative/managerial staff or cut back in managerial expenses.

Any business that cannot meet it core objectives will shut down and or its leaders fired, so why is the TTCBC still collecting their salaries?

Thing is nothing New , They are simply following the example set by the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth .

In this Forum I have often lamented
the fact that Once the WICBC had Sponsors for the Regional Tournaments , the Sponsors stopped being Sponsors .
Worse yet the Sycophants of the WICBC
in the Media refused to find out why
the Sponsors decided to walk away .

The Lackeys in Sports Media however
relish being severely Critical of the
Players , while saying nothing about those in the governance of Cricket .

The stark Truth is that the People in the Sports Media by affiliating themselves with those in the governance of Cricket bear a considerable amount for the State of
Cricket in the Region , whether they like it or not .

Fazeer has a daily TV show, the most popular in the country, but this far, he has not given a segment on the TTCBC and their destruction of Trinidad cricket.

Dude Narine said, he want to play in the regional competition, before returning to the International arena
You can continue to blame the TTCB for 100% of the problems
This is on Darren, because both Pooran and Lewis are in the squad.

TTCB is responsible for administration... Who else has to be questioned for the financial mismanagement or marketing failure?

Well according to some posters in here, it is the players who are responsible for financial mismangement, lack of marketing and distrust by the corporate sector.

Yes, you blame the TTCBC, it is their job to create an environment that is conducive for the players to play- you don't come to them a few week before the tourney and ask them to play, they have already signed contracts with others, as managers you anticipate and you planned ahead.

It is the only reason for the existence of the TTCBC. BTW, Narine is playing

Yes, you have to blame them, when will you guys understand what management and the responsibilities and duties that comes along with it?
