Any one who follow cricket knows that when conditions in favour of bowling, the indians does exploit it too. Kumar, Shami, Bumrah are all beautiful at keeping the seam up. It didn't surprise me they bowl out saffie for a total similar to theirs.

I don't dwell in the past. Batsmen have adjusted their technique to modern standards to allow them to bat at a faster rate, thus exposing them a little more when the wicket have some juice. If men was still as compact like before, we wouldn't be seeing them huge totals. Gayle generates more power than most because he hardly moves, his base is so strong, unmovable. Pollard similar.

Saffies will always be Wuzzies in my book. They should have opted to continue

India outbowled them too as Kumar and Bumrah showed they were equal or superior
too and the batsmen starting with Kohli in the first innings coped well. Ranjane's 2nd innings was a
a masterclass although he didn't get his 50.Showed the value of being a good backfoot player too.
Amla(corrected) also played very well too. It is a pitch that provides the ultimate Test of batsmanship agaainst
pace. More reason for the home team to batted out their 2nd innings.
Hard for me to respect them going forward if this match,as it will, be called off.

Wasn't taking a hit at you man, was just saying people think India can't exploit bowling conditions.

All that makes Kohli's batting efforts this series even more remarkable. SA have a top class pace attack, yet he has the most runs and an average of 47 in bowling conditions. The man is a top bat. Not no flat track bully!

Reading this thread, I swear match done and India steamroll SA.

Yet

I read the scorecard. SA make more than India in the 1st innings. And now need 224 runs to win with 9 wickets in hand and 2 days to go.

On top of that, SA leading the 3 match series 2-0.

So even if SA lost the match, they still won the series

So I’m quite confused. Why the beating of ribs and overall boastfulness on this thread?

SA desperately want to whitewash India. Remember, India prepared some curry powder pitches a few years ago and whitewashed their asses. This isn't any dead rubber, there are points at stake.

India will come away with more than just a win and pride if they pull this one off. It's essentially saying to the opposition that we can win every test at home against you, but you can't do the same to us in your backyard.

SA prepared a pitch with the intentions of humiliating India, but they're the ones about to cop a fu$king beatdown.

This has been an excellent series with not much separating either team. As far as I'm concerned, India lost this series due to team selection. That's on jackass #1 and jackass #2; Kohli and Shastri.
