CEO Graves would like to get Archer
In reply to positiveg
I like this CEO who has been positive and is keen to bring the better talent to represent WI. Still this looks like a losing battle
Make him an offer he cant refuse. If you think he is that good, then offer him a special contract
In reply to Baje
i think we have many good prospects here that can be as good as or better than Archer
WI cricket admins too lazy...their shortcut approach to development is why we are where we are today
focus on here and now...forget about elsewhere
Jordan was apparently the next best thing that all WIndians wanted...where's he now? can't even get in the England senior team
Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
I wanted to marry quite a few ladies but they did not want me. They wanted the turnover DJ Bravo instead.

I have no idea how good he is. However in my job, when I think that a candidate is special, I offer him that extra incentive.
It really might be best to pay another country to develop our young talent.

Until we realize that our failure is the result of a CWI that lacks vision and thinks "without a box" we will get no where soon.

Truer words have never been spoken. The bridge to Jofra exploded when CWI or WICB or the WICBC(i think is more appropriate) left him behind after his back injury. Apparently that is Courtney Browne's idea of 'investment'. Sussex took him on, and made him into twice or three times the cricketer he could be had he stayed with the West Indies. While under Papa Dave, the academy is non-existent and all the developmental structures have ground to a halt(the one good legacy of the St Lucien dictators)

Jordan making good money just playing for Sussex. That makes the decision to give the west indies a miss a financially lucrative one.
Jordan is in the England side that will play t20s against Australia and new Zealand next month.

even demman 2nd option way ahead of wi own
its really sad to see the region lose talent like Archer. But for his personal development I hope he don't come back to the Caribbean cause the wicb or cwi what ever they are called don't treat players with respect.
Wasn't it Bim who did not help Archer when he was injured?
Why should he play for the WI when he was disrespected by his board in the first place?
Allyuh, remember what this same WI org did to Lionel Baker? He also had a British passport. They destroyed his career - told him there is no need to go to Leicestershire when they wanted to give him a contract.
The Windies gave him a couple of games and as soon as he failed, they discard him for good. He was only twenty-four years old at the time.
Idiots!!!
Jordon had a A-Class Hinglish contract.
At the time it was worth £975,000 per year.
How much is a Wondies A-Class contract worth?
You guys need serious help.
In reply to TanteMerle
Bim reject you, and look at you now making 1m per year in Bermudian coins
Do you know Algeron Mc C
In reply to positiveg
All I have to say, Run Archer run! WI cricket is dead.
In reply to tops
Archer don't have to run.
He already represented Hindlish Lions versus Paks.
He is going to represent Hingland.
One million pounds per year A-Contract.
That's more than any Wondies player would get
for their total career Wondies A-Contract.
