WI ODI status and form

Ok...the batting was not outstanding but we have to abide with a top four of Gayle,Lewis,Samuels and Hope for now as they seems to be few challengers except for McCarthy from Jamaica.

But it was always the bowling which has kept us decent and competitive. But the last two years our bowling has been a joke to the top ODI stars with all getting flying starts against the Taylors and the Gabriels and the Holders and they also not taking wickets.

Our new opening bowling attack is Roach and Cottrell....but we do we see any good signs of promising ODI bowlers in the Super 50?

How come you always forgetting Cummins?

I think they've missed a trick with Gayle not bowling at the death.

So far nobody seems to be putting their hands up.

Cummins has 11 ODIs with an average of 52.66 with 9 wickets and an economy rate of 6.32.

He has not done enough to merit good appraisal.

Gabriel with 18 ODIS I saw as a good opening bowler until NZ when he constantly bowled short and wide in 3 matches and became a runs truck.

Holder with his lack of pace needs to be ever accurate but sometimes he is not and he becomes a runs truck...he needs to check Ian Bradshaw a left arm medium pacer allrounder who at his zenith was ranked No.3 in the world in ODIs.

Gayle is excellent at the death...and from what I saw of Kyle Mayers..it also shows an excellent death bowler.
