T&TCB Split in cricket Board management ranks
The T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) executive is split over a decision to change the management of the T&T Red Force team.
This according to Source close to the situation who explained that the executive met just prior to the start of the regional Super50 tournament to decide on a way forward where many views were expressed.
According to the Source who is close to the executive and who agreed to speak to Guardian Media Sports on the condition of anonymity said a senior member of the executive was so irate at the teams last place finish in the PCL (Four-day league competition last Month) that he called for the coach Kelvin Williams and manager Roland Sampath to be removed and the executive member actually got some support from other members of the executive, however, president of the board Azim Bassarath intervened and calm down the flare of tempers.
The Source said the President told the meeting that he wanted nothing to disrupt the team as it was about to start the Regional Super50 tournament.
