Welcome back Shai Hope

Welcome return to form Shai Hope.Looking forward to you dominating in the OD’s series against Sri Lanka , and reclaiming your rightful place in the WI Test team.
I hoped you worked on your apparent weakness against the bouncers and genuine pace . Also, you leant how to rotate the strike, and be aware where your off stump is ??
Once you work on the above you should be able to replicate the form you had and transfer that ODI average of 50’s to Test cricket .

You mean the weakness where he categorically runs out his teammates in EVERY SINGLE MATCH HE PLAYS AT EVERY LEVEL. Shai plays for Shai. I would love for someone to pull up the stats on the number of run outs Shai Hope has directly been involved in (and no, i don't mean as the victim of the runouts either).

the man has always performed better in one day cricket it's test cricket that has been his problem

Good morning people.

Shai hope once again demonstrated his abilities.

Ability to not rotate strike.
Ability to not even achieve strike rate about 70%
despite playing against a mediocre attack.
Ability to not finish an innings.
Ability to steer team to defeat.
Ability to not play balls that are full on off stump.

Ability to impress blow-hearts here.

This cricket is very poor and anyone watching can see it.

Wondies cannot compete internationally with such players.

I will post on whole competition after the finals.

He has a runout problem, no doubt but on review i would say Brooks was more at fault.

But if Hope want to play big boy cricket he needs to be more vocal both in running and even moreso keeping.
