Regional leaders are determined to do everything possible to revive West Indies cricket, and ways of achieving this objective will be on the agenda at this years Twenty-Ninth Inter-sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM, in Haiti.
This was stated by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, who told the Barbados Government Information Service that the state of West Indies cricket had been a key agenda item for the last few CARICOM summits. He disclosed that the CARICOM Heads had received a number of reports and recommendations which would be carefully examined at the conference.

More talk. Yesteryear it was Rowley grandstanding now it is Stuart's turn. I bet elections in Barbados is around the corner.
Those Caricom heads don't deserve any attention on any matter related to West Indies cricket. I will never make the same mistake twice. Absolutely nothing happened after the Belize meeting...talk, talk and more talk.
Last year I was confident that Rowley would take the bull by the horns or the heifer by its teats but he failed to grasp the moment.
Waste of time.

Hope they're successful this time around.
They already made an attempt when they got $ammy to run off his mouth at the T20 world cup presentation ceremony, but all that resulted was the Dear Leader being ostracized.

Both Rowley and Stuart have more important things to worry about: national debt, deficits and re-election. No time for cricket

Is Stuart still running as leader?
Btw, Rowley has some time to play with and he has been able to stabilize his economy. His major problem is curbing runaway crime.

I can agree with you there.
A simple proposal was made to these kindly gentlemen which by all indication would encourage inter island travel and up attendance considerably at matches .
Allow CARICOM citizens to book a cricket package between the islands to attend matches. This package would include a standard return airfare of $40 US if booked with accommodation.
No takers.

Well when they are willing to take firm and decisive action only then we will know if they are serious. Here's a list of actions they can collectively take:
1. Withhold use of all facilities for all matches sanctioned by the WICBC
2. Withhold permits to stage any matches sanctioned by the WICBC
3. Withdraw recognition of the WICBC as the official governing body for WI cricket
4. Pass legislation to bring the WICBC into CARICOM legal jurisdiction
5. Remove tax exempt status from the WICBC
6. Individual countries conduct tax audit on all executives and board members of the WICBC
7. Place flight restrictions on all executive and board members of the WICBC
8. Put economic sanctions against other CARICOM countries who violate sanctions
9. Place flight restrictions against leaders of member countries who violate sanctions
10. Fund a new governing body to replace the WICBC while lobbying India and England to gain leverage to the ICC.

Deh fix csme yet?
How about the single ict space?
If Deh cant fix csme which is entirely within government control can they fix something not entirely in?
If they can't fix csme how will they do a single ict space?
What was the last success story out of caricom?

#7 and #8 in your scenario is not possible.
In your #8 scenario, a CARICOM member would have to vote to sanction itself, that would not happen.
In your #7 scenario you cannot place flight restrictions on a CARICOM citizen because he or she does not agree with policies pertaining to cricket.

I am only going to approve if there is
an Entity that has Oversight Power regarding those in the governance of
Cricket in the Region .
PEOPLE WHO BEHAVE LIKE LITTLE
KIDS MUST ALWAYS BE SUPERVISED .
Until they learn to fully understand
that there MUST be Mutual respect by
those who govern & those who represent
US in the International Cricket Arena.

There is precedent for this- the UE and Mercusor at one point place sanctions against rogue members including suspension and expulsion.
In your #7 scenario you cannot place flight restrictions on a CARICOM citizen because he or she does not agree with policies pertaining to cricket.
The US and other powers have used this strategy to much success.

You evidently think that Freedom of
Thought & expression within legal limits is banned .
Your comment suggests that you have
not divest yourself from Mental Slavery .
You can seek Solace in the fact that
most of the WICBC/CWI Sycophants in the media share the same mentality that you have displayed .

I think you are joking re CARICOM countries. What kind of behavior from CARICOM countries would trigger sanctioning members over the governance of Cricket in the Region?
With regards to flight restrictions you brought up the USA
The US and other powers have used this strategy to much success.
Are you serious? The USA used flight restrictions on persons because of a perceived treat or real treat by those people to the safety of others.
What perceived treat or real treat do you envision the members of CWI poses to the flying public?
You are supposed to be a smart dude, to come up with such nonsense is worrying.
I did not even bother to address the most ridiculous of your suggestions. This one
9. Place flight restrictions against leaders of member countries who violate sanctions
