Rowley cries for end to violence

Diego Martin: “How long, oh Lord, how long will we have to endure this!”That was the cry of Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley as he commented on the recent murders of women in the Croisee, La Brea and other parts of the country.

He said it was clear some citizens of Trinidad and Tobago had gone “stark raving mad”. Speaking at a public meeting in Diego Martin on Thursday, the Prime Minister said while Government grappled with the economy and sought to steer the ship of state back to calm and safe economic waters, “some of our citizens have gone stark raving mad and are hell bent on making the national news every day by who kill who.”
