The pressure is off. I am happy fi he.
I have to admit that his charges appeared to be sabotaging him in the first test. This was not so. I think the skipper is just trying too hard. But overall, his charges have done well so far.
I was wrong about sabotage...perhaps I am also wrong about NOGOOGLYSHOO too.
Come Ottis haters...let's have some more fun.

Ottis Gibson cannot lose this series.
Hear Hear.... congrats to Coach Gibson and the Saffie team!

While I am tempted to congratulate Ottis and his troops, I want him to cross the finish line with aplomb first.

This series is over my friend. The only thing that can save the Aussies from a 3-1 series loss is rain. The Aussie team checked out of this series mentally since yesterday, and their batting will fold easier than tissue paper in the last Test. The Aussie team's leadership have more important things to worry about and certain players will have to pay the (sand)piper

And it is hard to see how the Aussie bowlers will perform with the ball without any yellow tape!
In reply to Walco
The odds are stacked against the Aussies. But you never know with yellow tape worms. Ottis has to ensure it's well done.

I saw where someone said the Aussies were getting the all to reverse after 20 overs
In reply to Walco
Yep...they did. There was a graph put up during commentary which showed clearly the ball swung after 20 overs and lil' or no swing after they were caught blatantly tiefing.
That's enough for me for a correlation bordering close to one.

By the way, don't expect any Ottis haters on this thread. They only pounce when the opportunity arises ...
Imagine the acclamation Ottis will receive when SA notch their first series win against Australia on SA soil since readmission ...

Those forkers probably cheated in the 1st Test too
In reply to Walco
Thanks for that tidbit.
Yep. It's Law and Order but Opiss Gibson.
Dog's luck is not cat's luck.
In reply to Walco
Logic would move in that direction...continuing to implement what worked so well for you in the first test.

I have been trying to find evidence of team improvement since Law became coach ... but not even the fielding has improved ...

There was chat about tape on Warner's fingers earlier in the series, which allegedly was because of injuries. So you never know

Mate, our whole approach to ODI is piss poor and continues to deteriorate. And the brains trust must take full responsibility for this. We are in free fall at the moment.
