He and many other aussies who now desperately indulging in major hand wringing and angst over this ball tampering incident, conveniently overlook just how unsportsmanlike Aussie cricketers have been for decades.

Newsflash to dad and son:
Your cricketers have often behaved disgracefully on the field of play.

From Greg Chappell instructing younger brother Trevor to roll the last ball of a ODI against New Zealand along the ground thus denying the Kiwis an opportunity to hit a six and win.

To single handeldly changing the culture of the game by refusing to walk when the batsman knows they’ve touched it.

To engaging in verbal abuse when a batsman comes to the wicket and somehow making that the norm in the “gentleman’s game”. And much more.

Spare me the crotcodile tears.
