What is going on?????
He has scored 1 run in 3 completed innings. Reminds me of a world cup run by Keith Arthurton back in the 90's.
Do you keep playing him and hope his form comes back or do you drop him??

Evin Lewis
In reply to Dukes
The question is does Lewis know when he's batting well, and what got him there? If he does out and just keeps swiping as you have to do in T20, will it get him back to that state?
My answer would be a resounding NOPE!!
Keep playing him
In reply to Dukes Dem bwoys seh he's in a funk. I'm off his donkey cart...
In reply to Dukes
time to 'reflek'

Well, we are all worried as he is the premier opener coming into the WC. I would much prefer he goes through a lean patch now and come WC, his form comes back.
Last night he got a jaffa and not even the tiefing umpires was willing to help him.
He has to keep on playing though, when he strikes, the team wins.
nedda tit shitehound !!!
In reply to BeatDball… that was a beauty that got him last night. and I quote the commentator "that's a jaffa!"
they have fabian allen and brandon king on the bench!
In reply to natty_forever
Was that commentator Tino Best?

In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
Guys like Tino Best need to be culled from population of television commentators.
In reply to Dukes
Be patient,he has demonstrated good ability at the highest level.
We should be more concerned with guys that seem to always get to 20 and give it away.
In reply to Dukes
Keep playing him if only for the "intangibles"!!
In reply to Dukes

Some were even calling for him to step into the test fray but the President wanted a personal interview with him.
Wonder what happened after that.
Needs to play himself back into form with some coaching help.
Like many, he needs a good player development program.
He got some goods, is not just a swiper.
More dominating than Gayle in some innings he has played.
Test is not just reserved for the Pokey Joes.
In reply to goofballs
Lewis is no Gayle. Gayle has proven himself from youth cricket thru first class test ODI and t20. The last true Windies star.
In reply to Dukes
needs a few matches off...to sort out himself
In reply to Larr Pullo
He will be back.
Needs to go back to his home club, then he will come back,
prepared.

In reply to FuzzyWuzzy

CG rules...never mind they call him old...none of them can strike it like him.
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy, Run Out, Stumo Out
A certain Sobers fan here said that when people stupid, you should not tell them (that they are stupid).
Yet he has been the foremost in questioning posters' intelligence yahso.
I said
More dominating than Gayle in some innings he has played.
especially related to when they batted together, if you ever watched cricket over past couple of years.
You, Fuzzy, made a universal statement of fact in response to my statement.
Bingo! You are right!!!

Comprehension, context?
But pray tell me, as you were responding to me, what is the correlation to what I said?
It seems like I said A and you jumped from Antigua to Australia with it, with your two cheerleaders.

I have been Gayle's biggest fan way before some of you were born!
Yes, he is mellowing now.
People used to laff at him once upon a time for his thirty s'ting average and I maintained he was a match winner.
In reply to goofballs
Arrite, you don't have to be so defensive! Its only a MB,where everyone is an expert!!
