THE ABORTED TOUR OF THE WEST INDIES

CRICKET TOUR TO INDIA .

This article has just come to my attention . I have no idea where Mr Commissong got his financial Figures from , he cited that the BCCI stated that it lost over 40 million dollars U.S due to the cancellation of the Tour .This is REAL MONEY not Pennies .

I would like to know if David Commissong was interviewed by any
Radio Sports Reporters or Sports Writers on Radio in Barbados .

I hope my usual Critics will respond &
enlighten me on this matter .

I have made the correction . I do not
recall YOU & others offering an opinion his Article .

Perhaps you can enlighten me regarding
those Sports Journalists who offered
an opinion whether on Radio or in the
Newspapers in Barbados .

Mr. Commissong cited that the loss of revenue the BCCI suffered was roughly around 40 million dollars .

As an avid Cricket Fan , I expected
that YOU would have commented about
this Article . I simply would like
to know whether YOU commented about
this matter in this Forum ; and I did not see it .

Bro, I left the Island four decades ago, dont know anything about the person mention.
The only thing I follow in Bim is cricket, and I get that from the BCA website.

I accept your answer , however I do not recall other Bajans who frequent
this Forum stating anything about this article . I however believe that YOU either read or heard about
what David Commissong stated .

Now the Sports Personalities on TV &
in the Press in Barbados were aware
of what David Commissong stated . I
could be wrong ; but have not heard any of those Charlatans in the Media utter a word regarding what Commissong stated .


It tangibly demonstrates to me that
the WICBC/CWI has some Lackeys in this Forum .

Let me restate this freaking fact :

40 PLUS MILLION DOLLARS CANNOT BY

ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION BE

CONSIDERED AS A TRIFLING MATTER .


The gist of what Mr. Commissong stated is that despite this colossal
blunder by the WICBC/CWI . Its Officers retained their grip on the
Worst International Cricket Board in
the Commonwealth .

I am quite sure cricket fans in Barbados discussed the Indian tour, as a boy people will discussed topics on street corners and will argue both side of the topic.
The Indian tour was discussed on this MB for months, with various opinions.
I for one do not need to discussion issue, unless some issues are new.
The CWI will be touring India, playing 2 test, 5 ODI and a number of T20, I am looking forward to the tour.

I am fully cognizant of the fact that HE was born in SVG . His father was a
Barbadian Methodist Minister living in St. Vincent when he was born . He therefore can claim dual Citizenships.

It is only very recently that I saw this Article , in a St. Lucian Newspaper ; perhaps because Darren Sammy was among the Leaders of West Indies Cricketers .

I do not recall any Vincentian Newspapers publishing Dave Commissong's Article ,At the time .

This obviously reinforces my belief
that those in the Region who claim to be Sports Journalists are akin to
being Spineless Jellyfish .

They apparently relish being willing
Tools of the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth aka the WICBC/CWI .

ALL THE CRICKET BOARDS IN THE REGION

AND MOST OF THE MEDIA IN THE REGION

HAVE CONTINUOUSLY DEMONSTRATED THAT

THEY RELISH BEING WILLING TOOLS OF

THE WICBC/CWI .

Obviously this unholy Alliance has
sullied the once Greatness of West Indies Cricket ; and Our Cricketers.

I know that he had connection to bim, and it is said that he is related to the Mottleys, but as you know there are many families connection between the two islands.

David has called for dissolving the board on many times.

The Stark TRUTH is that the West Indies Cricket Board from its inception was an Elitist Entity ,Organized & Run by Wealthy People in
the Region , who were Owners of Businesses and or Owners of Large Estates .

THEY WERE WEALTHY , SO CRICKET IN

THEIR OPINION WAS AKIN TO BEING A

HOBBY . PERHAPS THAT IS WHY THEY

WERE OBLIVIOUS TO THE FACT THAT AT

THE PINNACLE OF WEST INDIES CRICKET

PROWESS IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET

THEY REFUSED TO SEE OR UNDERSTAND

THAT IT WAS IN THEIR INTEREST TO

ENSURE THAT OUR PLAYERS WERE ALWAYS

FULLY PREPARED REGARDLESS OF THE

VILE MACHINATIONS OF THE ICC .

They paid scant attention to forming a Regional Cricket League in the Region . In eras where they could have get Financial Sponsors , to form a Regional Cricket League ;they sat on their Individual & Collective
Asses and did nothing .

SO WHEN OUT OF THE BLUE ENGLAND

DECIDED TO LIMIT PLAYERS FROM

PLAYING CRICKET IN ENGLAND . OUR

PLAYERS SUFFERED DUE TO THE FACT

THAT THERE WAS NO REGIONAL LEAGUE IN

THE REGION , TO HONE & SHARPEN THE

SKILLS OF OUR PLAYERS .

Then the International Cricket Conspirators aka the ICC decided to
change the International Tour Schedule .

THIS CHANGE WORSENED THE

COMPETITIVENESS OF OUR PLAYERS IN

THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET ARENA .

BECAUSE IT MEANT THAT OUR PLAYERS ,

WHO NO REGIONAL CRICKET LEAGUE ,

WHEN ON TOUR WOULD NOT HAVE AN

OPPORTUNITY TO GET ACCLIMATIZED TO

BOTH THE PITCHES & THE WEATHER .

Yes I am fully aware of the fact that other Teams suffered the same fate however it is very important
to note the following fact :

OTHER INTERNATIONAL TEAMS HAD

REGIONAL CRICKET LEAGUES ; HOWEVER

AT THAT JUNCTURE THERE WAS NOT ANY

REGIONAL CRICKET LEAGUES IN THE

REGION .

Obviously this placed Our Players at
a distinct disadvantage . This fact
is precisely why WE are where WE are
currently .

Clement Payne was a trade unionist in the 1930 in bim, he had strong Graveyite and advocate for workers right.
Commissong has revived the Clement Payne Movement, Hillary Beckles book on the history of Barbados has a few chapters on Clement Payne.

THE STARK TRUTH IS THE FACT THAT WHEN

THE WICBC/CWI STARTED BEING CONTROLLED

BY THOSE WHOSE PIGMENTATION WAS LIKE

MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE REGION ;

THOSE IN THE GOVERNANCE OF WEST

INDIES CRICKET DECIDED TO MIMIC &

APE THOSE WHO FORMED THE WICBC , AND

WERE OF A DIFFERENT PIGMENTATION .

Worse yet they have bluntly refused
to change the 1928 Structure of the
Worst International Cricket Board in
the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC/CWI.

THEY ARE PROPPED UP BY MANY IN THE

REGION WHO PROFESS TO BE IN THE

SPORTS MEDIA , BUT IN ACTUALITY ARE

NOTHING MORE THAN CHARLATANS OF THE

WORST INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARD IN

THE COMMONWEALTH .

Then WE have the Regional Governments who in their Timidity
bluntly refuse to take the WICBC/CWI
to Court . Some have openly allied
themselves with the WICBC/CWI .

Meanwhile the competitiveness of Our
Players in the International Cricket Arena sinks Lower & Lower .

The Incompetent People in the governance of West Indies Cricket are so full of themselves , that THEY fail to understand the stark Truth which is really not complicated .

TO ATTRACT FINANCIAL SPONSORS WE

MUST HAVE FULLY COMPETITIVE PLAYERS

IN THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET ARENA .

SPONSORS DO NOT & WILL NEVER

GRAVITATE TOWARDS TEAMS THAT ARE NOT

FULLY COMPETITIVE .

David Commissong is the new Barbados Caricom Ambassador.

In other words Ambassador for Trinidad, St Vincent, St Lucia, Jamaica, Guyana,Grenada, Antigua etc

I am happy to hear that HE has been calling for the dissolution of the Board on several occasions .

I am delighted that he is the Barbados
Representative to CARICOM . I am also
fully aware of the fact that he was born in SVG .

Can you say that about Commissong? He is very outspoken. He is also considered (by the Cubans) a very good friend of the Cuban Government and a strong advocate for Pan Africanism.

When you hear Commissong speaking against the Board it goes far deeper than what the average people think.

I know him well...he is speaking in respect of black consciousness and black pride throughout the region regarding West Indies cricket.

Panel with MASON & GUESTS .

That Program in my opinion seems to be one of the bastion of those who Idolize the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth ; aka the WICBC/CWI .
