...is ready for prime time in the next cricket test and ODI series in the Caribbean. It's time to get rid of some dead weight.
Why are they holding him back?
Check out his List A stats below.

Rahkeem Cornwall...
In reply to TheTrail
People claim his weight but I dont think he can do any worse than Nurse or Bishoo.
In reply to Pacy
For what I am hearing, his weight is not an issue anymore, and he can bat.
We need batting down to #10 in this team.
In reply to TheTrail
His fielding was poor in the games I saw him in. Needs to work on that.

After the heavy weight, who is next, the kid from Galilee?
In reply to tc1
Cornwall is a million times better than Nurse, who cannot bat or bowl.
In reply to TheTrail
But many on here had issues with Rampaul and Saraan"s weight..

We shall see soon

Do you remember when the ball used to follow Darren Bravo no matter where the captain put him in the field?
He used to misfield left, right and centre, and don't even talk about dropping catches in the slip and outfield.
I remember some were calling on the captain to put him in front of the bat where he either catches the ball or gets his backside crushed.
The good news is he worked on his fielding to rectify his problems.
His List A stats are impressive. Surely better than Nurse.
This would provide a fresh looking squad to build with post-world cup.
Lewis
Hemraj
Hope
Hetmyer
Pooran
Powell
Rutherford
Holder
Cornwall
Paul
Joseph
Depth in bowling (7 capable bowlers), 2 wicket-keeping options, and batting resources down to no. 11. Obviously the batting will revolve around Hetmyer.

I disagree.
Nurse's problem is trajectory. He is too flat with all his balls. He can bat but not as good as Cornwall, in my opinion.
Cornwall has flight variation, and he can bat very well.
oh the weight of expectations

We just found Thomas who rattled Gayle's middle stump, so I heard.
The last person to do that was Fidel Edwards at Kensington Oval in the nets against Lara. Need I continue...
BTW, a man told me this morning that Fidel Edwards at 36 years cannot do any worse.

Ashley has not convince me he is can bat or bowl at the International level.
I was attacked at Yorkshire a few years ago, by saying the above.
His fans that came after me, was more about Bajans in the West Indies team, than looking at players, performance.
Nurse is a dart thrower and that is sufficient to take wickets in local and regional cricket. Cornwall is a better bowler. Nurse is a decent swiper but Cornwall can actually bat. Nurse is good in slips and decent in the outfield...Cornwall is a liability in the field. Pick yuh poison
In reply to tc1
If Cornwall was 200lbs or less, Ashley Nurse would be in Barbados, not India.
In reply to Oilah
that might force captain holder to actually have a slip more often
In reply to TheTrail
I really do not think Cornwall is that great a batsman.
Too many aerial shots through the midwicket area.
In reply to Seechy...no OT?
In reply to TheTrail
should be EXCESSIVE weight
