Rutherford must not open today

The kid has meagre defence and should bat in the middle in today's final, to offset his limitations against the moving new ball. There his explosive aggression will be of better benefit.

Moreso the Colleges lineup has Akeem Jordan who demolished the powerful Trinidad lineup with brilliant both ways movement, it is imperative Guyana use two specialist openers.

This ain't T20, & the selectors need to understand that the longer version requires a solid start & not ape Trinidad whose use of Sunil Narine at the top has been a failure.

Jordan though is a great find & should be fastforwarded into the WI A team

Yeah, Lil Shiv is the better option they have there to open with the spinner Lewis making way. Without changes it is an unbalanced 11 with too many bowlers.

Lil Shiv is the better option

Yeah, we saw what a better Lil Shiv was.

He killed the Guyana batting lineup with his extremely slow batting, which guaranteed that Guyana could never put enough runs on the board to win the match. Guyana had a better chance to come out blazing with Rutherford and Griffith.

Lil Shiv should never go near a Guyana limited overs team again.
