At least when the middle order is totally Tits.

Sarge, everybody blaming poor Brownie.
Who appointed him? And why do they (the people who appointed him) still have that job?
In reply to runout
He is head selector isn't he?.
How can one go on tour without seasoned openers?
In reply to sgtdjones
Didn't the Super Tit Lewis drop out?
Beside if they had picked Devon Smith all alyuh woulda been breaking down CCC with cuss...
In reply to Larr Pullo
Nope Larr
I don't chastise players and never will
They don't pick themselves.
Today with two established openers
a different result would have occurred.

I dont mind trying non openers at the openers slot but I am not happy having batsmen who are comfortable and contributing in certain position play out of that slot.
Hope in tests and ODIs has shown that he is a good No3. Hety has shown that he can be good at 4/5. Darren Bravo has been between No 3 to 5.
It should be others outside these 3 who should be tested at the top. I would have tried Allen at the top or Rutherford or Pooran. If we need to solve our issues with Openers it has to be done without altering the pieces that are working.
But it is hard to expect that logic from WI set up which dropped the better players with the slogan "Anyway we are not winning". This is jut that extension. A clueless batting line up without a pl

This is International cricket, not some Curry Goat game.
If you want to try others, prepare them for the position at the club and regional levels.
We continue to be amateurs.
In reply to runout
I am concerned that we did not even fight in the format which we are familiar with.
In reply to Pacy
Agreed...however, can you imagine the team with no one knowing where they will be batting. And how to strategize on going after 195, against the world leading wicket taker in T20 in 2018?
In reply to openning
Makeshift opening is not a new concept. Today in LO cricket most teams have makeshift openers... While we are inflexible other teams have shown us how they were able to make use of Narine's batting capabilities.
Given that we had a squad without openers who would should have opened? Are you okay with Hope and Hety playing out of position? I am not.
In reply to runout
I completely agree... Looks like a charity match where players were randomly coming to the crease with no purpose whatsoever.
