Got to still be healing, so I'm guessing they'll rather him bowling 10 overs a match than 40 overs to start with.

Again more proof that the Selectors are jokers. Why pick 3 wicket keepers for 2 Tests? Makes no sense. None.

But they didn't play him in the odis or T20s at all.

I dont think he's being handled very well, to be honest

Ah mek it 4 keepers

Dowrich
Hamilton
Hope
Ambris

Slipfeeler Nov 14, 2018, 3:38:51 AM

Why waste Joseph or Oshane on Bangladesh? If this team cannot beat Bangladesh then we should really stop playing test cricket.

Hope and Ambris are mplaying as batsmen, in tests.

Dowrich is the main keeper, Hamilton the understudy. Seems okay to be.

The more baffling issue is the non selection of Joseph

So why do you need a specialist reserve keeper for a two test series?

Andy99 Nov 14, 2018, 3:54:55 AM

Powell again.

Why not carry Campbell, Hemraj, Mosely, Jangoo, any-facking-one and give them a chance to debut vs Bangladesh in what are traditionally flat pitches?

Instead you play him, he gets 1 or 2 good scores then fails for another 2 years.
Or if they do decided to drop him they make a youngster debut against OZ, SA or ENG.

He scored an 80 in his last test. Hard to drop him after that

Very easy to drop him, let him keep fooling people like you.

Fail for 5 innings, then 1 score in the 6th innings to get another 5.

Tell that to Jamaicans Desmond Lewis and Robert Samuels.

Different criteria apply to Jamaicans. Statistics alone wont cut it for Jamaicans. Ask Miller or Blackwood.

Now, that's a good South Eastern West Indies team.

It certainly gets my rubber-stamp.

Thought Oshane Thomas would get a run. He needs to get the match work in.

In reply to bobby Bobby, they did not pick three wicket keepers but rather 4 of them: Dowrich, Hope, Hamilton and Ambris. Our selectors are killing us

Unless the pitches in Bangladesh have changed, it may be wise to keep Oshane Thomas for a test series on pitches that offer more encouragement.

It appears that the selectors, in a pursuit for consistency in selection policy, have instead ended up pedantic in their selections.

I do not understand this big deal about 4 keepers. Minus Darren Bravo, the 4 keepers mentioned above can bat better than all other batsmen in the Caribbean.
