Many had been saying that his speed drops in second spell of a ODI. But he is hitting high 140's in the second spell too.
I like his pace. He just need to improve on his consistency in line.
If he can consistently bowl on the offstump line he is going to be doing good for himself and the team

Oshane Thomas - Fittness

"This Oshane Thomas.. Just one word. "Fantabulous" Behold the million dollar baby come December 18"
IPL auction?

Do not think So Mike. IPL teams are not excited by Quick bowlers outside SA / Aus. They look for allrounders and attacking batsman from WI.
I am thinking this season would be for Hety and Pooran.
Oshane continues to impress, despite his inexperience. Cappo Rovman made better use of him today and set a better field for him.
Roach showed how to use the slower ball. So, hopefully everyone was paying attention.

WI need to move away from all these medium pacers.. Identify all the real fast bowlers and work on dem..
These guys capable of hitting 145-150kph...
Thomas
Alzarri
Gabriel
Leveridge
Harding
Two of dem should be in the squad at all times

Exactly... I wish the real quick pacemen from Caribbean are taking into a coaching clinic during off time for a year or so by a professional coach to accelerate their learning.
Nothing works like pace even today. Oshane is impactful even when he does not have the control. If he can have control he would be more than a handful against any batting line up
In reply to Pacy
Just maybe the more he plays the longer format the more he learns to sustain his pace.Ya think?
In reply to Pacy
Just like the improvement in sustaining his pace, the control will come with more experience.

Thats what Im saying too the more he plays and the more he is around the team the better his fitness will be. I'm hoping to see Gabriel, Thomas, Holder and Roach against England, not sure if the selectors will have the balls to pick him in the English tests but I can tell you it will be fun to watch.

Don't place any bets on it. His fans already want him to maintain a speed of 145 to 150 KM, no matter what the situation.
Kemar is not as fast as the youngsters coming onboard anymore but his experience today was evident.
That batsman looked really foolish trying to go after him.

Ok a see a formula. Blood New up and coming, definitely 50/50 cricket. Then we decide who can play test or T20 or both from their performance in 50/50.

Thank you.

I agree. He can only improve and he should be part of T20 and ODI squads for sure.

This is not the first season for Wishing nor the last... We had been wishing for years togather but somehow the administrators are not that desperate.
That was the formula that SA and Aus used when they had strong test teams in the 90's. They blood young players and give them enough exposure so that they can be moved into the test side.
I remember Lance Klusener, Gilly, Lehman, Symonds all playing many ODIs before they were elevated into test teams when the opportunity arises.
But in our case, since the test team is weak, there is a chance that we might be tempted to induct players straight into tests. But I would prefer us developing players in ODIs and the better suited ones get elevated into tests. But that needs real planning and focused interventions.

You were right... I did not expect Quicks will have any demand in IPL.
I am surprised with the amount Carlos went for... I expected Hety and Pooran to go for more.
