In fact, we will continue to sink as a unified cricket nation:
The CWI will continue to bleed the finances with imported British coaches and other expenses that will not benefit the players
There will be no remake of our administrative structure
Regional boards will continue to operate under the existing structure
Players will be blamed for all our problems by some "fans" in here.
Sponsors will continue to blank CWI
Empty stadiums will remain empty during CWI games
And so on and so on.

NEW YEAR BUT SAME OLD FOR WI CRICKET
In reply to Emir
YOU are absolutely correct in your
assessment , Still no News about the
Wehby Report .
Interestingly all the FAUX SPORTS
JOURNALISTS in the Region as usual
will say nothing that would upset their Emperors in the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth , aka the WICBC .
The freaking fact is that if WE want
Cricket in the Region to improve it is imperative that the WICBC & the
Regional Cricket Boards undergo
total Restructuring .
Those currently in the WICBC & the
Regional Boards must be forever banned from having anything to do with Cricket in the Region .

Barbados is nearly sold out for the English leg of the tour.
No empty stands there.
In reply to Star
There will also hardly be any empty Seats in Barbados & Antigua . English Cricket Fans love the Sun ; Sea ; Beaches & Cricket in those 2
Countries , much more than
other Countries in the Region .
These two Countries are also filled
with much more English Historical Sites than other Islands in the Region .
In reply to POINT
Exactly. For Barbados and Antigua this is not about cricket. It is about filling hotel rooms. The stands will be filled with the Barmy Army.
As usual the CWI support will be a few old geezers and a dog or two.
In reply to bobby
THIS IS PRECISELY WHY THE GOVERNMENTS
OF THESE TWO COUNTRIES WILL BLUNTLY
REFUSE TO SIGN ON TO ANY CHANGES IN
THE STRUCTURE OF THE WICBC , AKA THE
WORST INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARD IN
THE COMMONWEALTH ; AND ITS MEMBER
BOARDS IN THE REGION .
I am reminded the following Adage :
" PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH ".
As long as they get their Pound of
Flesh , they are happy , they have
tangibly demonstrated that:
THEY REALLY DO NOT GIVE A DAMN
ABOUT THE STANDARD OF CRICKET IN
THE REGION , NOR THE COMPETITIVENESS
OF OUR PLAYERS IN THE INTERNATIONAL
CRICKET ARENA .
Getting Tourist Dollars is a hell of
a lot more important to them than Our Standing in the International
Cricket Arena .
Most if not all of the Faux Sports
Personalities in the Region will always agree with their Emperors in
the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth , aka the
WICBC .
QUITE FRANKLY , THE GOVERNMENTS OF
BARBADOS & ANTIGUA WITTINGLY OR
UNWITTINGLY MUST BEAR SOME
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CURRENT STATE
OF OUR TEAMS IN THE INTERNATIONAL
CRICKET ARENA .
Essentially they have become Tools
of the Worst International Cricket
Board in the Commonwealth , aka the
WICBC .
IT IS A CRYING SHAME THAT THESE TWO
GOVERNMENTS HAVE BECOME WILLING TOOLS
OF THE WORST INTERNATIONAL CRICKET
BOARD IN THE COMMONWEALTH , AKA THE
WICBC .
One would expect that these Governments would demonstrate that they possess some semblance of INTEGRITY . Sadly that aint the Case
with regard to this Issue .

Heard that Rover the last cricket loving dog in Antigua died, so unfortunately it will just be the two old men.
RIP Rover
When allyuh start contributing to the economies of these two Islands, then you can talk.
Cricket and the English fans, helps both economies.
How many local fans, supports cricket?
With India coming to the region, T&T and Guyana will also reap the benefit of the Indian fans, I am seeing in Australia.
Coaching is over rated at the senior level
That said, a local boy should be allowed to eat a food, not that it would make much difference - we have been down that road b4!

Are you saying that the Williams sisters and pro athletes don't need coaches?

All Windies cricket team needs is a good captain, ask Clive Lloyd and Viv Richards
Decentralized the game, too much bureaucracy!
Windies lost its way by trying to imitate other countries brand of cricket instead of doing it their traditional way!
WE ARE WHERE WE ARE BECAUSE IN THE
REGION THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN HIGH
POSITIONS , WHO ARE UTTERLY DEVOID
OF SCRUPLES AND INTEGRITY .
THESE FAILINGS ARE AT THE HEART OF
MOST PROBLEMS REGARDING CRICKET IN
THE REGION .
Sadly , as a result of these Machiavellian Tactics WE find ourselves Running Very Fast , but are still in the same Freaking Place . Worse yet many in the Region embrace this Freaking Behaviour .
They then go on Radio ; TV & in Newspapers ; and tell the Public , ALL the Ills regarding Cricket in the Region are perpetually due to the Flaws & Faults of the Players .
It never ceases to amaze me that many People in the Region in all walks of Life have yet to discover the fact that being Competitive in
the International Cricket Arena will
bring a Hell of a lot more People looking at Our Players playing Cricket , both at Home & Abroad .

That kind of thinking is what have us at the bottom of the barrel, just have a look at the different shots being played or the variety of deliveries being bowled.
All top International teams have academies, house with the essential.
