JAMAICA SCORPIONS Won the Toss elected to Field not surprised,
Jaugars 45-3. Akim Frazer running riot. Was worried that the pace will trouble us on that wicket but spin doing the trick.

Frazer bowling what kind of spin?
I don't know him.
Miller not playing?
In reply to mikesiva
Off spin.
Haynes said he brought him in because Guyana's batting order is dominated with left-handed batsmen.

Again?

Passenger Palmer must have some deep, compromising secrets for someone in an influential position.
I don't think this captain has aggregated 30 runs for the season
In reply to jacksprat … Sad! I now wondering if he is the selectors relative. And that's why the previous coach was removed, because he would not put up with such BS.
I add, all previous captains would on occasions contribute with bat or ball.
In reply to natty_forever
I guess he is the only one capable of spinning the toss!
And I bet he doesn't even possess Sammy's ability to clap to try to compensate for his lack of tangible contribution!
In reply to jacksprat and the powers that be cannot see that a team without a leader ends up at the bottom of the table.
Even a blind man would have given that out caught behind. Phew!

Who is Akim Frazer? So they decided to let Palmer open, same results.
In reply to natty_forever & Jacksprat
There could be another alternative.
As a member of a team at a certain club I kept wondering why, as a man who had opened the innings all my life, I had to be batting at #6 and #7. More than that, there was also a team member of limited skill, Jimmy L, who always preceded me in the line up.
I mentioned this to a knowledgeable club member and this was his reply.
"Oh, you didn't know that Jimmy L's father has a chiney shop?"
//
Ya'll remember when TAGE used to bat all day for 10 runs and Guyana aggreagated 300+ scores......?

Why is King playing as though it is a t20 game? I am not sure they recognise that there is 2 full days to go. Are they unsure about the pitch?

I wonder who is Passenger's father, and does he also own a chiney shop?

8 wickets? Wow. Thought it would be by 1 with that jokey line up.
Victory for the Scorpions! They defeated the Guyana Jaguar by 8 wickets.
Jamaica Scorpions 139 & 158/2.
Jermaine Blackwood 72*
Brandon King 66*.

Like this kid Brandon King.
Hope he keep improving
In reply to LBW375 had to call him Deadwood to get him to come alive.
In reply to natty_forever
on a serious note, is there a reason Palmer is still captaining the team? is he related to some one? i am not being facetious. I am just puzzled. Its not an old time name like Tucker or Breese or Baugh that i am familiar with, so i am not getting it. Play any other batsman and make Walton or Nikita Miller captain the team. its like we are playing with 10.
In reply to natty_forever
