Completely nonsensical. Unchanged side that gave away 420 runs last match. When would they check the match readiness of Russel and Allen ?
Narper
2019-03-02 09:53:04
So, right. Andre Russell still isn't fit and Windies have retained the same team.
On the other hand, England make one change Liam Plunkett ruled out with an injury and Tom Curran takes his spot

"There is a strong, strong breeze. It's a painfully slow outfield. There is a bit of live grass and for the first time in the series, there might be something in it for the bowlers. We should be in for a more even contest but I expect batsmen to dominate the contest," says Rob Key in his pitch report.

Jason Holder:
We are going to field first. It's a fresh wicket and there's a bit of grass in it. It's tough for the bowlers, but you got to back yourself and execute your plans. We are playing the same team.
Narper
2019-03-02 09:59:36
Eoin Morgan:
We would've done the seme. It's a fresh wicket like Jason said and it's a bit tacky. It's been a hectic tour for us. One change from the last game. Plunkett misses out with a niggle and Tom Curran is in. You'll have to be smart here as they is a strong wind around. It's been a hugely competitive series. The series is still on the line and we are looking forward to it.

Cottrell to Bairstow, out Bowled!! Leg-stump takes a beating. There comes the mandatory salute from Cottrell. England have lost an early wicket here. Very well planned by the bowler, follows the short ball with a one that is pitched full in the driving spot. Bairstow is tempted to drive and he goes for it without any second thoughts. There's some nip in the air, seamed in a bit and Bairstow's feet went nowhere. Thick inside edge is found and it deflects back to smash the leg-stump.

Cottrell to Bairstow, OUT, inswing does the trick! So full from Cottrell, bending in all the time, a big wafting drive, an inside-edge into the sticks, and Cottrell brings out his salute for the first time today! Finally, West Indies find the fuller length to challenge the stumps on this deck, and it pays instant dividends

Holder to Root, out Caught by Cottrell!! Two in two for Windies and Holder, who was all over the place in his first over, manages to get rid of Root with a short ball. There has been tennis-ball like bounce in this pitch and Root should've been wary about it. Arches his back and tries to ramp it, but didn't get the execution right. It comes off the splice and balloons up to Cottrell at third man, who cups it easily. The visitors have been jolted.

Brathwaite to Hales, FOUR, square of the wicket, it comes off on this occasion albeit danger was written all over it. Hales gets deep and adjusts for the dodgy bounce, cuts it uppishly to point where Hetmyer gets his fingertips to it Fails to hold onto it as the batsman hit it quite hard. Such was the power behind it that it purrs all the way to the fence

Brathwaite to Hales, out Caught by Shai Hope!! Edged and gone. Brathwaite is elated and gets his man. Hales was just settling in but gets greedy for runs and throws his wicket away to Brathwaite. It banged in short outside off like the previous ball, but there was extra bounce which Hales couldn't combat. Only hands following the ball and he ended up outside edging it behind. Hope nestles in his gloves safely.

Thomas to Morgan, out Caught by Cottrell!! Thomas to Morgan, out Caught by Cottrell!! Huge blow for England this. Thomas takes his revenge and the plan has worked for the Windies. Dug in short, Morgan wanted to pull but there were two fielders waiting in the deep on the leg-side.Steep bounce meant that Morgan messes the timing and top-edges it up in the air towards fine leg. Cottrell keeps his calm and snaffles it. Windies are delighted and it will also be drinks

Gayle gave the Caribbean a wonderful farewell present....
Shai bowled by Woakes for 13...disappointing shot.
Hope didn't have to play that shot. I hope Hetmyer plays more responsibly.

WWoakes to Shai Hope, out Bowled!! Swings across the line of this slower ball, it curves away past his outside edge and clips the outside of off stump. Brilliantly executed delivery from Woakes, held it back in the fingers with the seam upright and even managed to find swing after beating Hope for the lack of pace.

His shots have shown that he continues to have confidence in his attacking play.

Tom Curran to Hetmyer, FOUR, Curran introduces himself with a slower ball, and that's all he'll get to do today. Hetmyer punches this through mid-off into the boundary to hand England an absolute shellacking - their biggest ODI defeat in terms of balls remaining

Morgan, England captain:
We struggled throughout the whole innings with the bat. The extra bounce here is not something which we come up against much. It's difficult to curb what's been your natural reaction for a couple of weeks. But we need to adapt better. You do have to rock up on any given day. We've done it on slow, low and turning wickets. But we're yet to do it on wickets like these. We've competed well throughtout, haven't been at our absolute best in this series. Support around the Caribbean has been awesome. Certainly have a lot of positives to take from the series.

Gayle, Man of the Series: Gayle, Man of the Series: Man of the Series at age 39, come on youngsters what's happening (laughs). It's a fantastic series. To be able to tie the series 2-2, both teams played well. Today our bowlers were fantastic. Oshane with his first five-wicket haul, Carlos was brilliant.

Jason Holder, Windies captain:
Really proud of the guys. Tough for the bowlers this series. But they won us two games as well. Great to see the intent we showed today while chasing the target, led by Chris. Chris will be Chris. Learnt a lot from this series. Still have to improve on the fielding. We're heading in the right direction. Just a matter for us to be consistent. Was a good surface. There was moisture upfront. Still got to put it in the right areas.
