That was the case in the Clinton Whitewater probe.
It is possible but that was not Mueller's purview so it is entirely possible that he passed that information on to the AG.
It will be interesting to see what Congress does with that information.

I'm not grabbing at straws, you have to understand how the process works. Mueller had a very limited scope as far as what he could investigate. He passed on several parts of the investigation to the SDNY and could be doing the same here.
All I'm saying is, don't start jumping for joy, Trump is not out of danger yet.
