Alan's wife died last week. Had a cold and deteriorated. She and Dorraine were both in intensive care.

wow..i remember seeing an article on the web that Alan's wife died. so sad. as a kid, i never missed him or Dorraine in the morning... oldies but goodies, calypso corner...road beat . you remember?

Dorraine came on right after, and she was just so sweet.

She had two husbands - Alan Rickards and then Carl Bingham. Alan is still around but her send husband died of the same illness a while back - pancreatic cancer

As you know, I worked with both Dorraine and Alan.

But the real blow to me is the death of my very good friend, former Radio Jamaica PR officer Angela Reid.

Sorry to hear.She had a very calm demeanor on air.I seem to remember her program followed Alan Magnus who was definitely high energy and had everybody howling with laughter.May Dorraine and Alan's wife RIP.

Dukes she really was calm and we shared a trait - punctuality.
