Good question, my former boss always ask this question at the end of a project.
Define success

I should have said prosperous instead of successful.
Especially the intelligentsia, who seem to think less of those who make money with with either sport or music.
Was it Hilaire who wanted Gayle and Samuels out of cricket, for sounding like they didn't achieve high marks in CXC English, and lauded the articulateness of Darren Sammy?
I beleieve Courtney Browne made selections based on peoples academic qualifications , or their reading list.
That culture is rampant these parts, is a kind of badmind.
Pollard is unlucky, I think the squad is a batsman short, and in terms of talent, experience and form..he would be next on the list of batsmen available for selection
Polly comes in to bat with an average of 32 balls per game . Then he must slog and get quick runs.
Yet he has taken his team to win games. But ohhhhhh look at his average .
Being paid for his services 6 weeks .....a million US dollars
Pollard's best scores (83 v Kings XI and 46 not out v Sunrisers) this season have come when he's entered within the first 12 overs of the innings.

Its a pity such logic, dat an extra batsman or bowler was needed, wasn used when Polly made de 2007 WC squad.
Dis blatant rooting for homies got to stop.
Polly played in de last SUPER 50 and cudn score 70 runs from 7 attempts. On what basis was he going to be selected
In reply to sgtdjones
So what excuse you go use for Polly in de last Super 50 when he had a whole lot more dan 32 balls to face in de 7 innings he played and cudn score 70

Are you always at your best ,or do you as a normal human being have off days?
Was he happy to be playing for CWI?
Give credit also to one's opponent.

Wait Polly is the only international batsman to go thru slumps in form?
How you feel about Shai Hope in Tests?
Pollard ain't my homeboy, I'm born and raised in Kingston, and I ain't never met him except to be on the same flight
In reply to DIEHARD
Please give it a rest
Polly entire international career has been a slump.

Average 30 in his last 10 ODIS for WI.
In demand in every T-20 league, if you had to add one more batsman to this squad, and remove a bowler, which batsman would it be?
