Stay away from East PoS, cops warn
30 gang members arrested
Thirty members of the Muslim gang from Port-of-Spain have been arrested overnight after a gunfight between rival gangs.
Police have also identified a gang leader and 11 members believed to have been behind the 'shooting mayhem' that broke out in the capital city on Thursday, which resulted in the immediate response of officers from the Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit.
The incident started at Nelson Street, where according to intelligence, it is believed that original Muslim gang members who converted to Rastafarianism and joined the Rasta City gang have claimed Nelson Street as their turf now and were said to be running people out of their homes.
