This WI fielding is so pathetic, u can't make it up. They've been dropping catches & misfielding plays more than the current May-June Guyana rains. Ricky Skerritt & Jimmy Adams, or whoever else appointed this coaching team and selection panel, is this the reward u're giving us fans for supporting u'all against Cameron???
A set of non-entity coaches that spent so long in Ireland, they still can't drill this team properly, especially big 'Guts" Nurse to catch until now??
But who should be surprised, Reifer & company never were ready for the big time, & we cringe for what will happen in England. Just to let u'all know, we will forever be pissed off at Keemo Paul's omission, the best young WI bowler out there.
Three straight losses to Bangladesh, mainly through the bowlers, the same ones to be in action in England.
Seems we dug a hole to fill a hole with u'all.

Our worst fielding ever

Yep it was stupid to replace a winning coach.
Soooooooo......Nurse was a better fielder when the winning head coach was in charge and became a bad fielder under this current coaching team?
In reply to imusic How did you get to that conclusion from what was written above?
I find it so amusing that people are pining away for Tricky Dick Pybus, the genius coach who could not win a T20 match at home against England. Apparently Pybus is a miracle worker ... He coached us to a Test series win at home, an ODI series tie at home and a T20 series loss at home. Some winning coach dat, especially against a team that we always play tough at home.

...it sounds like that is but one of the points that the poster is intimating...
Why is Nurse even on the park? I guess the come weather could be a factor but he dropping catches at home as well. The guy reminds me of Monty. Minus his bowling skill.
The fielding of Nurse was dumbfounding, embarrassing and yes repudiating. The image of WI cricket was dealt a severe blow and contributed further to the disrespect we suffer. This is our WC squad.
This causes me to really question how and why he has survived selection for so long. Surely this is not something sudden, and it is not only an issue of his fielding.

I bet you think that Jumbo Corn would've done a better job.

I express my view regarding him all the time.
I understand and respect the argument concerning his weight. What about Nurse and his fitness?
Now I question the trade off between talent and fitness between the two.
