Are you living in the country of birth, and if you had the opportunity would you immigrate?
How many struggling poor people do you assist?
In reply to openning
Doesn't matter. I am living in the US but would sure play for west indies over usa if they wanted me.
Not that I need to ans this, but I do help my fair share of struggling folks.
In reply to jballer84
You have the nerve to immigrate, and want to live Archer's life.
Him leaving give another player from the region, the opportunity of playing for the West Indies.
BTW, one less Bajan to deal with.
In reply to openning
I hear Polllard has a Miami home. He still play for west indies right? Shov and Sarwan lived here for years. Does not matter where u live. Archer should have played for us. Fukc him
In reply to jballer84
Dude, Archer choice was to play for England, just like most of us who immigrated choice to work in a foreign land.
Did you called Brandon Nash a traitor for chosing WICB ahead of CA?
My only issue with players, is playing only T20 and expecting to be selected for other formats.
For you to cuss another Bajan?
He made the best choice for him
In reply to openning
I think one migrates when one leaves his place of birth!
Nice to see bajans so unified in defending Archers right to choose for whom he plays.
Some of them didnt have a similar perspective however when it came to others they refer to as PDs, greedy, disloyal etc.
In reply to imusic
should we throw some kerosene on the fire.
In reply to imusic
They av no shame
Another question. If Archer had a game like yesterday's playing for the WI, how much cuss he would a get? I guess dam if he played for WI and the same if he play for Eng...
In reply to openning
CA did not want him. Difference is we wanted Archer to come home. The skunt turned his back. Hope he gets smashed all world cup
In reply to imusic

Mate, the sentiment expressed above is only analogous if Jofra Archer having selected England as his team (country) then decides that he wants to play every T20 tournament in the world. Then your "greedy, disloyal..." would naturally apply.
As it stands now, the two situations are like night and day...wait until J Archer decides to give Bangladesh Premier League priority over playing for England.
You are too quick to take a swipe at Bajans.

You are too quick to take a swipe at Bajans.
They said Larr got rebuff by a Jamaican which results in his attitude toward yardie.
I wonder who rebuffed imusic
In reply to Courtesy
It is clear as daylight that archer's situation is different. If after a while England drops him and he comes around saying how much he loves the west indies and wants to play for them only then we can make the comparison.
In reply to Courtesy
What part of choosing for whom he plays do you not understand?
He chose to play for England rather than West Indies
Others chose to play for Dhaka Dynamites for example, rather than make themselves available for a particular West Indies series.
The operative word is chose. In both cited scenarios, a choice was made. Entirely their right to make it. Some defend one yet same people direct invective at others.
In reply to cherri
I am not among those who are decrying
what Archer has done . It is quite
possible that He and those who have
some influence on him decided that it
was better for him to go to England .
I had & have absolutely no Problem with his decision . Those who are being critical of his decision ,
will not talk about the fact that
the Cricket Academy that was at the Barbados Campus is closed .
Once again providing tangible evidence that the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth , aka the WICBC has been and is a total Joke .
While there are New Key Personnel in
the WICBC , They have not signalled that THEY intend to do a Complete
Restructuring in ALL Cricket in the
Region .
In reply to imusic
That is the starting point. He has chosen a country. Where is the greed? His loyalty is not IPL first TNT
The next question is: will he choose country over the league? That is the argument right there and then.
Having chosen a country let's see if he chooses to play every premier league.
You have erroneously equated choosing to play for England as analogous as a West Indian team member choosing to play for every T20 league. They are not comparable. You are comparing apples to oranges.
In reply to Courtesy
So Dwight Yorke opting to play for Man United instead of playing for T&T in a friendly is comparing apples to apples?
In reply to imusic
The above is club and country and it's analogous to a West Indian cricketer choosing a Nowhere T20 League over playing for West Indies.
And where did this example spring from? Man you are something else.
Further, football makes provision for such choices. Cricket...none, except a window of opportunity, as is the case with IPL.
Stop inventing situations in an attempt to diss Bajans when they don't deserve it.
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
You trafficking that foolishness Fuzzy? For every Zimma that rebuffed Larr there no doubt were other beautiful yardie women who were receptive to his advances. I don't see Larr as someone who would carry p**** feelings to the extent of holding it against an entire country
