In reply to allan was just mentioning that.

Very true. But, a whole bunch of other things also.
look...they had this game...extras or not
In reply to ray seriously? ok.
A big fat NO.
Bowling stupidly into Coulter-Nile's hitting arc - letting a bowler score 92.
Batting stupidly and throwing your wicket away, by choosing to play high risk attacking shots against the opponent's best bowler - when you have a minimum of 2 overs of the 5th/6th bowler left.
The extras are what allowed the bowlers to bounce out the Aus top order.
The accompanying stupidity/ inexperience is what cost the game.
In reply to ray what about the dropped catches?
Dis Done.
Russle's intemperance cost the game. He needed to listen to the captain and chill!
In reply to allan
nope stupid batting
The extras were mainly wides that came in pursuit of a particular tactic. If they are going to use the short ball then the risk is that a number are going to go above the batsman's head. I am more concerned that they allowed Coulter-Nile to score too many and that Russell could not restrain himself and give the WI the best chance of getting the runs and chose a high-risk method instead. He had a lot of time and though you will hear that that is how he plays, there was a smarter way that was more likely to succeed.
